A friendly luxury modern hotel, artfully built in a pleasant colonial style, 10 spacious beachfront and elegantly decorated rooms and suites, with terrace and private bathroom. Situated in a big garden on an exotic bay in the south of the island. Big swimming pool and spa for massages, situated along a 90 m white sand beach. Satelite TV, free WIFI, AC , minibar, safe, water bottle ,coffee and tea facilities in every room. The Belgian-Sri Lankan chef , with experience in big European hotels prepares you daily a four course menu, that is served at your table. We also have a menu "a la carte " . We speak English, French, Dutch, Spanish , Singhalees and a basic German. There are 11 staffmembers at your disposal. Situated 80m from the main road , we have no traffic sound problems. Also situated 3 km from main Mirissa beach and the harbour where you can take a boat for whale watching. Galle and his Dutch Fort is easily reachable by train ( train station at 500m ), by bus or by car. We organise safari at Udawalawe national parc, Yalla parc , river safaris, whale watching and visits to seaturtel farms and bird sanctuary.

My wife and I stayed there for 6 nights. The room was spacious and clean, the food was excellent and the pool and ambiance were just perfect. Eating whilst you are watching, or listening, to the waves crash in as you eat your breakfast or dinner was so relaxing. The staff are attentive to your needs and the owners are welcoming and interested in making your stay a great experience. Welligama is a 10 mimute Tuk Tuk ride away if you fancy a day surfing. A great boutique hotel.

A small, intimate gem smack on the Indian Ocean. Accommodations were very comfortable; the large bathroom with two sinks was very convenient. Service was fabulous! Breakfast on a large, shaded patio next to the ocean, coconut palms overhead; a wow experience. Fresh tropical fruit, eggs of your choice, yogurt, cheese, basket of toast, rolls, croissants. The evening meal was even more spectacular: candle light, the sound of the ocean and the dinner, gourmet. I highly recommend Imagine Villa!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Imagine Villa - the spacious rooms with balcony seating and ocean views, the pool & patio for lounging, the delicious and varied meals served by the ocean, the gracious host and attentive staff, and falling asleep to the waves. The property is beautiful and nicely appointed; the location is private but with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. We only stayed two nights but wished we had more. If we have the chance, we’ll be back. Highly recommend!

I came as a guest and I left with a new Sri Lanka family . will be back soon ! Booked for 2 days and ended up staying 2 weeks. Great food and Great service from Sanji Mahesh Manix and crew Rooms sit next to a Nice and remote beach without it being too far away from town.

I had booked this hotel for 3 nights to chill and relax. Our group included family and friends. Our room was huge with a large balcony area overlooking the sea. Comfy bed, good quiet air con and very clean. Plenty of isolated locations to hangout. The owners, Marnix and Wijay are true gentlemen and nothing was too much trouble. The staff, happy and courteous and always greeted us with a smile. I have to say the meals we had at the hotel for the 4 days of our stay were absolutely delicious and plentiful. I would not have wanted to be anywhere else and will certainly return next year to stay. A huge huge thank you to all for looking after us so well, we all wish you and all the staff good health and happiness. The ayurvedic guy at the villa was 5 stars..!

Literally thus place has overnight become one of my favourite places to stay. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 6. We've only moved on as had already booked accomodation elsewhere. The rooms are very comfortable, comfy bed seating area in our room) AC, and good shower water pressure. The poolside and beach front, both within about 20 steps from our room. Very chilled, with perfect sun bathing beds. Pool is a nice cool down. The food breakfast and evening meal are literally fantastic, with so much on offer, and they are certainly looking for quality here, couldn't ask for anything else. I guess what sets this place apart from others is the professionalism and the friendliness from the owners/management, through all the staff, including the two lovely old dogs who keep a very lazy eye on everything. Walks on the beach are lovely as you're literally on the water front. During our stay we met another couple who had returned to imagine as they missed the chilled out, and getting looked after feel. This is literally amazing value for money and we certainly hope one day to come back. Well done and thank you to everyone at Imagine…

This is a super location and gives a good run to the so called 5 star hotels with their welcoming property, the peaceful atmosphere, the service which goes beyond the call of duty and their thoughtfulness in making your stay an extremely unforgettable experience. Wije and his team make you feel so much a home always surprising you with what they can do to make our stay a fabulous one. Kudos to this hotel which is beautiful and perfect in every way. Their intentions of customer delight are so genuine and Wije has trained the boys so well. They strive for perfection in whatever they do. They are truly serving you with all their heart. We were lucky to have booked this little hotel for a whole week at the end of our trip. This gave us the chance to enjoy everything. We had a generous room and the pool was long enough to really swim. The kitchen was great! The cook (one of the owners) is native Singhalese and worked in Belgium before, with outstanding results! And don't forget to test the bar, if you are there! The hotel sits right on the beach (sand and rocks). To swim in the Indian Ocean, you should walk a bit, but you might miss peacocks, a mungo, turtles, crabs, fish and the wonderful sound of breaking waves right in front of your room... ;-). Coming to the best part... we were used to very good service on Sri Lanka, but staff and the owners of the villa were really so attentive and friendly as if they knew us for a long time. My wife had her birthday when we were there and we (owners, staff and me) managed for some surprises on that day, including a chorus of all(!) staff. :-) Great place, will return for sure.…

Stayed for 7 nights last month and can not fault this hotel. We were promised the best room with amazing views and it didn’t disappoint. Photographs do not do this hotel justice, the owner was incredibly welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help us. All of the team were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant for dinner three times and were left speechless by the quality of the cuisine. Would highly recommend this superb hotel.

Having just sent 2 nights in this beautiful hotel as we travel Sri Lanka on our honeymoon,we are already wishing we had booked for longer. The owner is so welcoming and checks daily if all is okay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, spotless and have amazing views of the ocean. We had lunch on both days and I can highly recommend the tuna salad and the burger which my husband had on both days!The pool is quiet, perfect for chilling out. The breakfast area is fabulous and they serve dinner here as well.It's a short tuk tuk into town and they will call you one approx.350rupees. You can feel the western touch within this hotel and one of the best I've stayed in so far in Sri Lanka! We will definitely be back.
