On our Route 66 Trip we just HAD to spend a night in the Munger Moss Motel. After a warm welcome and a big hug from Ramona we went into our rooms. Very clean, simple, just what you would expect from such a place in which every inch tells a story about the motherroad. As long as the owners are...

We spent a night at the legendary Munger Moss, with its terrific sign, on our Mother Road trip. Ramona & Bob were the loveliest people and gave us and our travelling teddybear gang a warm welcome. The room was fabulous, full of wonderful old photos of Chain of Rocks Bridge and suchlike. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable and the a/c...

This place is so lovely. The check-in office is full of memorabilia and history and Ramona will tell you about it all and she's such a joy to talk to. I wish I could just live in this motel permanently. The rooms are charming and clean and the perfect combination of vintage and comfort. I HAVE to go back in...

As with other reviewers, we were on a Route 66 driving trip from Chicago to Santa Monica and had to stay at the Munger Moss. We were in room 24 that had a comfortable king bed and wonderful photos of other Route 66 motels in the region. The bathroom was small but adequate; one suggestion is to replace some of...

We were riding Route 66 heading west and called the Munger Moss after seeing great reviews on TripAdvisor. It was very cute and quaint, very clean and well maintained. An iconic motel and definite must-stay on your Route 66 adventure!

Chose this motel as seen pictures in Route 66 books and a convenient stopping point on our Route 66 journey before we turned off to go across Kansas and Colorado. Emailed Ramona a few weeks before and she replied with a room available. Worth staying there just for the Sign! but room was clean and comfortable, coffee was available in...

This is a bless from my R66 trip.. Ramona made this motel a must go hotel in R66. I was certainly nicely rewarded with a reectly brewed coffee and the car collection in the reception lobby. I highly advise to see this place. It really flew my back to the 70's..... Thanks Ramona for being such a lovely host...

This was a fun change from a chain motel. We were on a 9 day road trip and we spent our last night at Munger Moss. Probably the most memorable part was meeting the owner, Ramona. She was so knowledgable about a lot of Rt 66. Interesting lady. Our room was large and the bathroom was also -decorated with pink...
