Enjoyed a lovely weekend at Bridge Cottage. Our second stay. Thank you Joanne. Cosy and comfortable. Lovely open fire. We enjoyed the complimentary port and chocolates. Nice and quiet and relaxing. Recommend a visit and stay. Close to Hobart and attractions.
I was left with mixed feelings after staying two nights in the 'Armory' section of the cottage. It made me think of just how hard it is to run accommodation where you can provide value for money and still turn a profit.

Yes Bridge Cottage is located in the Village overlooking the Historic Richmond Bridge.
Built by Convicts in 1823 it housed the Sergeant who oversaw the construction of the Historic Richmond Bridge.
Made of Convict brick the cottages are soundproof - apologies if the other guests...More
