Our first visit to Troncones and Hacienda Eden. What a delightful find, as this property was beautifully designed, and meticulously cared for. From the comfortable beds, lounge chairs by the beach, great food and friendly staff, we highly recommend Hacienda Eden to those looking for a true escape. We enjoyed a 2 hour horseback ride with Octavio on the beach...

When a dozen people on the beach (as far as the eye can see) constitutes the biggest mob scene you've seen all week, you know you've found the perfect spot. And each day is capped off by the most perfect sunset imaginable, with the sun passing over no land on its trip around the Pacific until it hits Thailand. After...

Hacienda Eden is magical place. It has been created with love by Jim and Eva and it shows. It has soul. It is perfect in its simplicity and it fits seamlessly into its extraordinarily beautiful surroundings. There is absolutely nothing to do which is quite brilliant except to read, swim, watch the pelicans fishing in the bay or take a...

Need the perfect place to escape the gray of winter? Jim and Eva have created a slice of paradise on Manzanilla Bay. Their idyllic private beach and boutique hotel offer the perfect respite from stress and snow. We enjoyed quiet, spectacular sunsets, moonlight walks on empty beaches and no cell phone service for a glorious week. Don't overpack. You're only...

Hacienda Eden is one of those magical places that combines a beautiful location with wonderful hosts and the balance between comfort and simplicity. We came for our honeymoon -- originally we were thinking Tulum but the beaches were awash in seaweed when we were booking. Turns out, destiny had a better plan for us. Jim and Eva are awesome and...

We have just returned from another wonderful visit to Eden. We were warmly greeted by Eva on our arrival and shown to our comfortable, well stocked room. We did not have a single need left unaddressed. On our last morning a member of our group injured his finger and required medical attention. Dario, who runs Cafe del Jardin in the...

Our first time at Hacienda Eden and couldn't have been more impressed. Everything--staff, food, accommodations, beach, water--is first class without the stuffiness or expense of a super luxury resort. This is the ultimate place to get away from work, worry, phones, television and stress. You can never leave Eden and have a great time or you can find great local...
