We had another great stay at Eden - our eigth or ninth time! Eva and Jim continue to provide an incredibly beautiful and relaxed environment from which we are able to enjoy the best of Troncones/Majahua. The small hotel is comfortable, always kept impeccable and the staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms, bungalows and suites offer subtle differences to... More

The moment you walk through the entry you are greeted warmly into this beautiful sanctuary. Very clean, friendly, beautiful layout, and in the middle of this beautiful stretch of sandy beach with great swimming and snorkeling.

First time in Troncones - the hotel was such a wonderful surprise! The owners were absolutely gracious and helpful; they are available for any problem that may arise and assisted us in so many ways. Called for cabs, translated, restaurant suggestions, driving directions, etc. The hotel is tranquil and beautiful and sits unobtrusively on a gorgeous beach. The staff keeps... More

Wonderful destination wedding location for our dear friends. Beautiful hotel, so original and unique - I felt that I was immersed in the true experience of Mexico in its lovely beaches, generous spirit, natural beauty. From the beginning, owners Eva and Jim made us feel so welcome. A far cry from the sterile high-rise or condo environment, these rooms are... More

It was opening night for the 2016-17 season and we went for dinner here. We hadn't been to the area in 5 years and JP (restaurant owner) still recognized us! We had forgotten our money and we were going to go to town to the ATM machine and JP just said, "no problem, just come back and pay tomorrow!" Wish... More

Hacienda Eden is located on Manzanillo Bay. The bungalows are large and very comfortable with a view of the ocean. The staff are considerate and friendly. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. I would definitely return here. I recommend it to all that want a get-away in a quiet relaxing place. The location is on the bay. The pool... More

This is a fantastic property, oozing with character and charm. It's a peaceful place with not much going on, but that is the draw for most I think. We stayed in a suite and loved it, though all the rooms seemed great. The location, Manzanillo Bay, is a picturesque setting, close to the village of Troncones (south) and Majahua (north).... More

We spent two delightful days and nights @ Hacienda Eden in Bungalow 9--almost right on the beach, thanks to Eva and Jim's donation of two night's accommodation for the Sail Fest live auction. We know they support many local charitable efforts, which we appreciate. We considered this a mini-vacation from our regular six-month stay in Zihuatanejo's La Madera neighbourhood. Our... More

Our first visit to Troncones and Hacienda Eden. What a delightful find, as this property was beautifully designed, and meticulously cared for. From the comfortable beds, lounge chairs by the beach, great food and friendly staff, we highly recommend Hacienda Eden to those looking for a true escape. We enjoyed a 2 hour horseback ride with Octavio on the beach... More
