Broken glass, old appliances sitting out in the walkways, mold in one of the rooms, no water, construction workers everywhere, piles of gravel, saws and drills going all day, closed restaurant ... this is the fun you'll have checking into this dump. We moved out as fast as

We stayed in the Love Nest this past week -- super private and quiet and lovely, while close to all the action. We found the staff to be superb and welcoming. We spent a lot of time around the pool/amenities as well as the bar/restaurant. This allowed us to strike a perfect

Read the reviews on this place and stay away. We paid full price for a place that was under major construction and had no water. Very little staff, air conditioning was not adequate, the list goes on. We were promised a refund by the general manager but have not received it.

This is a beautiful property. Too bad they were under full construction when we arrived and we had no water. Obviously couldn't stay, so went to the General Manager, Moises Pena, who offered us a full refund. All good, except they haven't issued the refunds since promising

This was one of the most sleepless nights we have ever had. Some kind of animal was walking around on our grass roof and we were not sure what it was. The room itself was really clean and comfortable. You walked right out to the pool. It is not a place you should stay if you

Well, while I am not familiar with that room, I feel pretty confident saying that yes there is a toilet in the room. We stayed at the Amor Boutique in January with a large group of people, for a wedding. Many of the smaller rooms are set up with unique, if not unusual, ways of incorporating bathroom facilities in the same room as the bed. That being said, best really like the person you share the room with because you might not have a lot of privacy (or maybe none). But, If you remember you are in a small town in Mexico, and fully enjoy the beauty of the Amor Botique, the grounds, the pools, and the helpful staff, it can be worth it.

I was bitten by something. I do not know what it was. I did kill a number of spiders and ants in my room.

Is there still an issue with bed bugs?
For us there was not. From what I read / heard the bed bugs were only an issue in two of the villas. We stayed in the Manana which wasn't one of them!

The bathroom is separated but only by a white mesh curtain which they fishtail braid, there is no proper door separating the two for noise or visual privacy.
