This is a great hotel set up for longer stays. Our room had a full kitchen and a comfortable sitting room. The kitchen had an oven, fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, sink, all utensils, plates, glasses, cups and dishwashing soap and tea towels. Comfortable bed, nice shower and a small patio off the sitting area. You get a nice continental breakfast upstairs in the conference room. Really nice hotel, right in town and close to everything, friendly staff and a pretty place.

Lovely redone hotel. The one bedroom suite had lots of space, pullout sofa bed, small kitchen, etc. We had a lovely sea view and there is a BBQ and chairs for the patio. Free breakfast upstairs was nice, yogurt, granola, fruit, muffins, toast, etc. The sofabed could use a thicker mattress,I would only recommend for kids. Very clean with wonderful friendly staff. Small gift shop with reasonable prices. Definitely check out the Grenfell museum next door, fishing point for whales and Norstead.

The hotel is located smack in the middle of downtown St. Anthony. Our room was very spacious. It has two queen beds and also the cabinet under the TV is apparently a bed as well. We just didn't bother to open since the beds were good enough for us.
There were also huge tables in the room. We had to drag furniture around, which is prolly the only disadvantage of having a lot of features in the room. Funny thing is you can tell when people are newly checked in to their rooms, as they are also dragging furniture around!
The bathroom is pretty modern, especially the sink. Now I'm inspired to change my sink at home as well.
There is free breakfast at 7 am. No meats, just bread, cereal, oatmeal, fruits, and coffee, tea, and juice. The hotel also offers a tour of the Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve. That was interesting to find out. Sadly, we were already occupied with the L'Anse aux Meadows site and iceberg hunting in the area, and also an iceberg boat tour the following day, so we weren't able to take advantage of that. But good to know!

Okay hotel. Good base of operations. Near historical sites and restaurants. Get a second floor room or you’ll hear people stomping around over you. We had a ground floor room. It was miserable. You could hear people walking above you all night.

Great location for the area, easy to access, clean rooms. We had a suite style with a kitchenette which was very nice. The bed in the bedroom was okay, but the pull out couch was miserable to sleep on. As others have mentioned, the construction is more like a house than a typical commercial facility - you can hear people walking above you very well, no sound insulation to speak of, etc.
Breakfast was simple and on par with a typical free breakfast in a business hotel. The water has a lot of iron (I think) in it, so it is brown out of the tap. We used bottled water during our stay. There is a grocery store, gas station and Tim Horton's relatively close by car but everything closes at 5 PM, so plan accordingly. I would stay here again when visiting the area.

Nice size room. Living room comfortable chairs by the tv. Nice kitchenette. We were on 1 st floor. They have NO insulation between floors. We could hear people walking above us as if you were in your own house. Very hard to sleep with that noise! No water cooler around. Too bad as their water is yellow and I would definitely not want to drink it from the tap! Breakfast was mediocre. Bread, toaster, jam, 3 cold cereal and oatmeal, juice and yogourt. Coffee was horrible.
A good place to do your laundry. $2.00 per load. Extra large machines. The front desk can exchange $ as it only takes loonies.

This was a good stay and provided all that we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. There is a breakfast service available which was enjoyable because of the casual atmosphere it provides, where there is a selection of some breads, cereal, muffins, fruit pots and drink fridge as well as coffees and tea.

Suite here with kitchenette facilities – all very dated, but clean. Water colour however was very off putting (brown). Noise levels between floors/rooms suggest there’s no real insulation to this building. Very basic breakfast on offer.

Impressed with this hotel from the time we entered the front doors. Very friendly desk clerk. Lobby was full of photos and artifacts from Sir Wilfred Grenfell’s days.
Entering the 2nd floor suite , the first thing that struck us was HARDWOOD FLOORING! No trace of typical musty hotel-grade carpet, complete with mystery stains from past guests. That sold us right away! The room itself was fantastic; bright colors, high ceilings, tastefully appointed. Being there for just one night, we didn’t use the roomy kitchenette, but it looked ideal for an extended stay. The bed was comfortable. Sadly, the continental breakfast was shut down due to Covid, and I don’t think there are any restaurants within a short walking distance. The suite had a lovely little balcony that would be a great spot to relax when the weather’s warmer.
This will be our go-to hotel for future stays in St. Anthony.

This is a lovely facility that has been redone and offers a comfortable and convenient stay in St. Anthony's. The room had large bedroom/living space complete with a couch and chairs. The small kitchen offered a welcome change to eating in restaurants and had everything needed to cook a quick meal. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended for an enjoyable stay in a well-appointed room.

St. Anthony is a fairly small town. Almost everything is within walking distance. Some are farther than others. You can walk to our shopping area within 10 minutes or you can walk to Fishing Point the Th Lightkeepers restaurant in about 20 mins. If you have any other questions, please contact us.
Thanks

We have a small selection of exercise gear. Couple treadmills and a elliptical machine. We are currently in the process of updating our exercise room now. It should be ready for the summer season.
Thanks
