Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at the Triple Rose and used it as our base for exploring the tip of the Northern Peninsula. Kathy, the hostess and co-owner, is the most gracious person and helpful with everything (she grew up about five miles down the road). It is not the typical B&B in someone's home. It is more like a small hotel, with the building having been converted to lodging (five rooms, all with private bath) and renovated about 8 years ago. It also hosts St. Anthony's visitor information center, which is quite convenient. The place is spotlessly clean. There is a large, open breakfast area and a sitting room with three couches and TV outside the five bedrooms. Breakfast included home-baked breads, scones and muffins to go with cold cereal, juice, coffee and tea (and you can ask for seconds). There is a washer and dryer ($2 per load). Location is right on Route 430 (the Viing Trail) at the turnoff for L'Anse aux Meadows. I have only two criticisms: the rooms are small (about the size of a bedroom in a typical ranch house), and the wi-fi service comes and goes. But I would gladly stay there again.

I stayed in the cabin for a night while in town on business. This place is only 10 kms outside St. Anthony and is in a good location. I arrived late because of the weather but prior to the owner called to check on me. It was so nice! There is everything you could need to prepare a meal and the place is really large. Lots of space and sleeping accomodations. I had the please of seeing a double rainbow on the morning I was leaving. Can't get any better than that...

we stayed at this b&b in july 2013. we were made to feel at home by linda, pearl and doug. it was very quiet when we stayed there for our three days and enjoyed spending time with the staff. like other reviewers we found the breakfasts to be very good, bacon and eggs and homemade jams. it was great talking to the other gusts as well. there is a small tourist information center located in the lobby and the students were very helpful and friendly. we really enjoyed our stay and will stay there again. one other thing, the moose is there.

We called looking for B & B acomodations in St. Anthony on short notice. We were 2 couples and were quoted $129 for the 2 bedroom cottage. When we arrived we were charged an extra $10 per person for the second couple. When we asked about the breakfast we were told it doesn't come with the cottage. When shown their own pamphlet stating breakfast comes with all rooms we were told it was a misprint. Other than that the cottage was fine. It had one room with a queen bed and another with 2 double beds. It is about 5 miles from downtown St Anthony in the middle of the woods. We took a ride at dusk because we wanted to see moose. Within 5 minutes from the B&B we saw a dozen of them. Also we went to St. Anthony to see ice burgs. Wow You could stand at the light house and see 40 at one time.

The triple Rose B&B is a well run almost motel-like proprty at the junction of the roads to St. Anthongy and L'Anse aux meadows. The rrom was smallish, but adequate and squeky clean. The breakfast was very good, with seconds available for those who need it. I would prefer staying here rather than in St Anthony's due to it's excellent cross-roads location.

Nice folks, very accommodating. Not fancy, just comfortable with needs met. Full breakfast. "FOR SALE" sign was in from the yard as we left, if you are interested in a new venture.
Drive to St Anthony's and other areas is reasonable and very scenic. Family friendly. We visited off-season and thoroughly enjoyed the quiet.

We were four very wet campers looking for a reprieve from the rain. The Triple Rose took us in and had no problem accommodating us and our wet gear. They were lovely people to chat with, the room and common room were very comfortable and the breakfast with homemade preserves was great (they even served us breakfast early so we could catch the Labrador ferry in plenty to time).

We found the room rather small and spartan, but very clean, and the people friendly and helpful. When we visited, the area was under a "boil water" notice, so breakfast was more limited than it probably would have been otherwise. The location was good as a point from which to visit the area. Would we stay there again? Perhaps.

"The rooms are similar. Room #1 is wheelchair accessible - so this makes it bigger. It seems a little more private as well, since it is off of the hallway and not off of the living room. Room #4 is more private than Room #2, #3 and #5. #2 is right next to a main entrance so I feel it would be annoying to hear the door slamming all the time. Ask for the 2 bedroom cottage, more private and a better bang for your dollar!"
