Lynne is an absolutely wonderful host! Her breakfast is amazing! The first day was partridge berry pancakes and the second was eggs and bacon. With fruit, muffins, juice and tea or coffee as well. The house is exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Within walking distance of the Grenfell museum and a slightly longer walk to the lighthouse cafe. If I return to St. Anthony, I would stay here again in an instant.

Lynn has two rooms, one with a queen bed and bath in the hall (my room). The other "room" is a small apartment with a separate entrance. Lynn allows the use of the kitchen and living room, where conversation is interesting. Her breakfasts are amazing. She is a great cook. I found Lynn accommodating and gracious and hope I can go there again.

Lynn does a great job of hosting to make you feel welcome and prepare a great breakfast. She provides a coffee machine and bottled water in the room. She has 2 rooms, a smaller one with a bathroom in the hallway and a much larger suite with private bath and a large private living room. The bedroom in the suite has a queen and single bed suitable for 3 people. Location is good on the main road in St. Anthony which leads to the lighthouse. She also has a good TV system with a small flat screen in the bedroom and a larger tube TV in the living room. Give Lynn a try.

We had the suite which is HUGE: bedroom, bathroom and living room. The breakfast was very good, the home made jams excellent, and Lynn is very nice.
It's a 5 min walk to the wales cruise departure place. And it's not far from the lighthouse.
Thanks a lot Lynn for picking all those berries and making those nice jams for us, and for letting us stay at your place.

Friends had recommend Lynn's B&B and we were definitely not disappointed. It is a lovely home and Lynn a charming hostess. The breakfasts are better than home with her homemade bread, partridgeberry and other jams. She seems so pleased to prepare the breakfasts for her guests. When we could not eat another thing, she insisted we take some of the homemade rhubarb muffins with us ! The location is handy for the Grenville Museum and the whale watching tour and a short drive to L' aux Meadows. As an older couple, it was a treat to have the suite with the ability to wheel our suitcases right to our door. We ended our trip to Newfoundland with fond memories of Lynn who encapsulated the spirit of Newfoundlanders.

This is one B&B that has an interesting concept of a suite. A bedroom with a double and single bed, an en-suite bath, private entry, a large private living room with mini fridge, flat paneled TV, and a Tassimo coffee maker with t-discs ??? ... this is a B&B ..., not one of those expensive high-end hotels. And very reasonably priced.

The owner here has very simple rules, those with the suite - that is your domain.
Those with the other two rooms each with a double bed and shared bath, with access to the kitchen and a large living room with TV, that is you space. You need some wine or beer to be chilled, not a problem ... just ask and you will be taken care of.
If you are fortunate, that she has some homemade partrige-berry and bake-apple preserves for sale, grab a jar or two before they disappear. They can be sampled at breakfast.
As for the breakfast, you will have difficulty in leaving with an empty stomach. One day berried pancakes, with real maple syrup and preserves, and the next day eggs - your choice with bacon, toast, homemade biscuits, and what one could call an unlimited sized fruit bowl, juice, coffee and/or tea.

The only negative thing that I could really say regarding this establishment, is that we did not stay longer.

Would we return to this establishment: Yes, you bet ...

Would we recommend this establishment: Yes, do not pass this one up.

We arrived to find Lynne gardening. The grounds are well maintained and very nice but things are late this summer due to the cool weather in the Maritimes this year. We reserved the room with the ensuite bathroom only to discover it also included a living room as well as a separate entrance. The first morning I stepped out the back door to confront the largest rabbit I’d ever seen, almost something out of a fantasy novel – I half expected it to talk to me. Most likely a hare of some type. The house is very clean and inviting. Internet access is good. Lynne cooks breakfast to order and asked the night before what we wanted – making suggestions – she tries to have a different main every day. The first day was bacon and eggs. The second was pancakes with partridgeberries (lingonberries/wild cranberries) with bakeapple (cloudberry) syrup. The third day was very quick and easy since we had to leave early for Rocky Harbour and the Western Brook pond boat tour so Lynne prepared breakfast a half hour earlier - we had coffee with a raisin biscuit along with the usual selections. Breakfast always includes tea or coffee and juice, a selection of cold cereals, homemade jams (e.g. bakeapple, partridgeberry) and choice of toast. We had a Tassimo in our room, which was great since I get up very early and like to have coffee. The house is close to the Northland Boat tours – it would be an easy walk for us (10 minutes or so) but we drove. In the opposite direction is Fox or Fishing point and the Lightkeepers restaurant (a 2-3 minute drive). I was a little disappointed with the bakeapple jam in Newfoundland but the syrup we had at Lynnes’s was delicious. Lynne told us it was available at the local Foodland supermarket. We couldn’t find it – even asking a store employee - and mentioned it to Lynne and she described exactly where it was. Our stay here was enjoyable and Lynne was a significant reason for that enjoyment.

The best breakfast anywhere by far. Although it was some time ago that we had the opportunity to stay here, we would still recommend it to anyone staying in that area. The year is off by a few.
The area wasn’t on our schedule stop but with the big iceberg coming through we left for our return trip to Ontario earlier then we planned. And we were not disappointed. The bed and breakfast was awesome, scenery was great and the icebergs didn’t disappoint us either.

Dorothy and I stayed here for two nights as our base for a visit to L'Anse aux Meadows. The property was right on the main road, easy to find, and in a lovely garden. We had an entire suite (queen-size bedroom, bathroom, huge sitting room) and a private entrance. It was clean and very quiet, and Lynn, our host, was very communicative and helpful. The breakfasts offered lots of choice, always including freshly cooked dishes like pancakes with sausages, or bacon and eggs. She also made scones, and served them with homemade jam! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet and comfortable space and a big appetite at breakfast time!

We had the suite which was extremely comfortable and clean. Complementary tea and coffee were available as well as a small fridge if we needed it. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty with pancakes and bacon, homemade muffins and jam. Lynn served us our breakfast first and then sat with us. She is a wonderful hostess and we really enjoyed our stay here.
