Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here when we went to st Anthony / L'Anse a meadows on a stay cation. It was very clean and cozy and close to everything. The quilt on the bed was super cute with moose and other newfoundland themed animals. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying with them if your visiting the northern peninsula.

Very clean, large rooms, excellent facilities including well stocked kitchen, bbq, free washer and dryer. Owners very pleasant and accomodating. Across the road from the water and close to hospital and shopping.

Pleasantly surprised about our accommodations. This place has only two unit attached to a convenient store. It's a one bedroom with a full kitchen and living room. The couch is a pull out so suitable for kids or one person. The bedroom bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very clean.
This place has free wifi, tv with cable, coffee maker, microwave, stove, washer and dryer too.
We liked the extra room.
There is a decent grocery store in town if you were up to cooking. We had breakfast and lunch and went out for dinners. Recommend the Lighthouse Cafe and Parsons for dinner.
Overall great place. Recommended

Wow. Wonderful place to stay. Very reasonable price for an one bedroom cottage that is fully equipped. All you have to do is bring food and your own clothing. Staff at the Convenience store very friendly. I would highly recommend this beautiful place. It’s close to the Lighthouse Keepers Cafe a must place to have great seafood.

We spent one night at the Lighthouse Cottages after coming to St. Anthony to see L'Anse Aux Meadows. Thanks so much to the proprietor who, because we arrived late, interrupted her dinner to come back out at 9:00 p.m. to give us the key. We stayed in the two-bedroom self-contained apartment which had everything a person could possible need, including a well-stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer. The place was neat as a pin and the beds were very comfortable. i would not hesitate to recommend these cottages to anyone - a true hidden gem! And to make things even better, the cottages are attached to a convenience store which sells all the essentials.

We stayed here in August 2018 for 1 night while touring the area ....could not have asked for anything more ...had a lovely cottage the night before too but this one even had in room laundry and a BBQ. Just as the picture shows a home away from home and it was about $125 all taxes and fees in. It was away more than we ever expected.

Good value and great hosts . As a result we enjoyed St Anthony and area for three nights with whale and iceberg watching, and a thorough visit at the L’Anse aux meadows Historic site . The washer and dryer got our clothes clean , the bed was first class and the living room enjoyable.

This rental is a cut above others, with it's high end finishes for a cottage, and spaciousness for the cost, $120 a night when we were there. Ours was a 1 bedroom with a pullout couch. There was a washer and dryer, so nice when you are travelling. The negative about this place is no view of the harbour, but that's only a quick walk across the road, and it is central in the town. It is attached to a convenience store, so can be a bit noisier in the evening, with cars coming and going. A comfortable place to stay.
