The Hotel Residencial Salema is a 3 star establishment that is clean, with reasonably equipped rooms and friendly staff. There are wonderful views from the balconies and the beach is just a stones throw from the hotel. Breakfast provided by the hotel was buffet style with all of the basics required for a hearty breakfast. The hotel bar was well... More

Just come back from a lovely stay at the Residencial. Absolutely loved Salema. Quiet village but with several fantastic restaurants & a couple of bars and a fabulous beach with lots of free parking. Hotel is in a great location with nice size quiet rooms, all with balconys with a view of the sea. Breakfast is mainly continental with scrambled... More

As per other reviews, the staff were not super warm and welcoming but after spending 2 nights we felt a warmer vibe. The hotel is clean and basic with everything you need for services. The rooms and hotel are clean. Breakfast is very good. Location is awesome. The little bar was welcoming and the bartender friendly. Make sure you leave... More

excellent location, beautiful beach, freindly helpful staff and perfectly adequate breakfast.Don,t forget this is a three star hotel. The room was kept spotless..My only regret is not leaving a tip for the cleaners and reception staff, because the airport transfer driver had turned up at a different agreed location, and we were rushing to catch it.The lady on reception ran after us as I was... This is a beach property in a quaint fishing village. The rooms are small, but clean. The bathrooms pretty small and basic. Breakfast is fine. This isn't a fancy place, but it is at the beach. The hotel location is perfect. The bar can attract a crowd during sporting matches. The wifi works in the common areas. The staff are... More

Room with seaview super. Location the best in village. Service real good and cleaning the room was allways so clean. Parking is privat and near 10meters from house. Pool area is nice not windy. There are many restaurants in Salema go and eat well.

The Hotel Residencial Salema is ideally placed for visiting the beach - it is literally right across the street, and due to the arrangement of the rooms, every room has at least some view of the beach from its tiny balcony. The staff were all quite efficient, though no one seemed particularly friendly or outgoing. The room was pretty basic,... More

This hotel appears to have not been updated since the 1970's. The rooms are spartan, with uncomfortable beds and marginal air conditioning. The bathroom is ridiculously small, and the shower has very low water pressure. The view to beach is good, though.
