I can't say enough great things about my stay. Adrian and Kate were wonderful, the food was phenomenal. We enjoyed getting to know the other couples staying there. Overall an incredible experience. Don't miss the 4 course dinner, chocolates in the cellar and breakfast each day.

Although we didn't stay here, we did the four course wine gourmet dinner they do on the weekends. Pricey, $196 for two, including tip, we had four (glasses) different kinds of wine with each course.. There wasn't a mistep in the menu or choice of wine. Intimate setting and Adrian, our host charming. Wife, is the chef, but she chose...

This B&B is simply the best I've ever had the pleasure to stay at. The hosts, Adrian and Kate, have created a great atmosphere and are incredibly professional about every detail. Our stay was relaxing, the other guest we met were enjoyable to talk to, and the food was out of this world good!

After discovering this historic farmstead B & B online, my husband and I booked the King suite in the Alpenhorn Gasthaus for an overnight stop on a road trip from Wisconsin to our home in Memphis, TN. Although we arrived earlier than we had anticipated, Adrian welcomed us in, showed us around the buildings and grounds, introduced us to the...

It is located on a hilltop with woods and the sounds of nature surrounding you. The decoration of the house is so homely that I felt at home the entire time. The dinner and the breakfast were excellent. It looks like we have found ourselves the perfect getaway from the city.. Thank you Adrian and Kate!

My husband & I were in the midst of selling our house in the city. All the details involved were getting to us & we decided we needed a break but didn't want to travel very far away. After researching possible destinations, I discovered the Alpenhorn online. It's charm was obvious & my call to make our reservation clinched the...

I have avoided B&Bs my entire adult life...I was very nervous about the idea of staying in a stranger's actual home, with the same strangers all in my business. :-) Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, the lack of any "reagular" hotels in Hermann, and the lure of the private cottages and the reports of amazing breakfasts, we went ahead and booked...

The location is great with nice views of the countryside. We stayed in the small guest house (kleine haus). The room was nice, but the shower required the sink to be turned on to draw hot water, even then the water was lukewarm. The breakfast was very nice and delicious, but we made the mistake of ordering the dinner and...

My wife and I, along with another couple, spent a delightful night at this superb B&B. We stayed in the small cottage outback; the other couple stayed in the even smaller cottage nearby. Though tiny, both were beautifully decorated and contained everything an overnight traveler might need. Truly romantic, the atmosphere of the entire establishment is first-rate. In addition to...

We had a great time. We chose this B&B for the great food, the candy, the cookies and great stories. We went with friends and picked this one. We all rated this as a great time. Adrian did not let us down and told us great stories about the Inn and his home country. We really enjoyed everything about this...
