We've stayed here twice in 2016 for a total of 16 nights. The facility is nice and clean, the associates are friendly and our stays have been quite pleasant. I would highly recommend this spot. They have plenty for the kids to do as well. It's conveniently located to Six Flags and all the St Louis attractions.

This was super easy to find and very convenient to RV. 44. We got in after dark so we missed the fact they have BIG ROCKS at their front entrance (need some lights or reflectors there). Anyway, now we have a permanent memento on the side of our new RV. Place was clean, neat, and the people very friendly. There...

After driving 8 hours on our way from Michigan to Texas, our first landing was at Koa West in Eureka, MO. We were escorted tour site which was very helpful. Stayed on a pull-through not too far from restrooms.

My husband loves trains and so while planning our trip and looking at possible places to stop I saw this KOA and the caboose as alternative camping. The folks there were great and he had a great time.

This campground is perhaps one of the best in the KOA system. Super friendly, exceptional customer service and warm baked cookies. Will always stay here when passing through and will recommend this campground to our friends. A word of caution: call ahead to get directions as your GPS may take you downtown St. Louis and that is NOT a fun...

We enjoyed coming here and had a great time at a family friendly eventful weekend. We chose Koa activity over six flags :) Had so much fun trick or treating and pumpkin carving as well as the outdoor movie and wagon rides! Bingo was a blast!

The campground is well keep, easy to get to off the highway and easy to maneuver trailers through. St. Louis is only about 30 minutes away so it work for great day trips to see the sights. The quality of the KOA and the employees was great same as any KOA we have been to. Definitely worth a stay.

Stayed in the Caboose for 2 nights. Comfortable bed - short on outlets! Warning for those of us with lots of gadgets to charge. :D Small refrigerator, no freezer, but kept some soda nice and cold. Campground is surprisingly quiet, given it's on a very busy road. Porch is **wonderful** - there was a night-long downpour but I stayed dry...

We were there for the Scotish Games in Chesterfield. This campground had everything we needed. The younger family members loved the pool and playground. We had lots in a row which we appreciated so much and close to teh bathrooms. It was nice and quiet.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is picturesque camping as it was meant to be - with lots of trees, a babbling creek, fireflies and a campfire (with s'mores!) Under a starlit sky. Located on Historic Route 66, this beautiful KOA is less than 1 mile from Six Flags St. Louis. It's less than 30 minutes from other St. Louis attractions, including the Gateway Arch, Forest Park, Missouri Botanical Garden, Museum of Transportation, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, Grant's Farm and riverboat rides on the Mississippi. Meramec Caverns, Purina Farms and wine country are also nearby. New this year: Geming mining station, fun cycle bikes, Full-time Director of Fun, activities/amenities. Groups enjoy the renovated pavilion and new air-conditioned meeting space. Railroad buffs can stay in the newly renovated red caboose. ... more   less
