Our family stayed at Las Olas, #9- it could not have been more perfect! The home is beautiful with all of the amenities that one would need and if not, your wonderful dedicated housekeeper and cook will accomodate your needs the following day, if possible....More
We spent a week at Casa Luna at the Playa las Tortugas on Riviera Nayarit during the winter vacation. The house is beautiful, with Mexican architecture and colors. The kitchen has everything you may need (one thing I didn't find was a mixer, probably not...More
Playa Las Tortugas – We loved the place. Once you get here (see note below), this is a lovely, quiet, safe place to have a wonderful family vacation. The houses are beautiful, the landscaping lush and top notch service.

Beautiful homes and gardens directly next to white sand and warm waves totally exceeded our expectations. Some highlights: boogie boarding at high tide: jogging on an empty beach: kayaking on an estuary and seeing amazing birds and then docking at neaby Plantanitos, which is full...More
One of the best parts of this house is that it is hard to find. A Paradise that is easy to find typically turns in to high rise condo's. If you follow the directions, you will soon find the best beach on earth, and maybe...More
Hello, my family and I are planning to visit this place over in December, but we are a bit concerned about safety and how secluded we would be. Any advice to make our trip better?

Thanks for reaching out. Mexico is going through some challenging times right now but the violence you're hearing about in the news is not targeted towards tourists or civilians. The best way to answer the question on safety may simply be to look at the numbers. We've had thousands of guests in and out of our doors since the issues started in 2006. We haven't had a single guest experience a bit of violence, or any situation where their safety has been jeopardized - not a single guest.
Our sleepy stretch of beach is on an undisturbed, very much undiscovered (for now :-) stretch of pristine Riviera Nayarit coastline. We're popular with families looking for a more authentic and relaxing vacation. There really aren't too many people that know about us. But those that do tend to come back again and again...and usually with friends and family.
