Just returned from a great weekend in Galway with the family and cannot recommend the Carraig B&B enough. From the warm welcome from the host to the clean bright airy room and a breakfast to die for that will keep you going all day. The B&B is in a quite peaceful area 5min drive from the city centre. Would definitely...

Excellent stay in Mary's B&B : Mary is very friendly and helpful. Her B&B is nice and clean, our 3 beds room was perfect. The breakfast was very good and Mary let a french song play extra for us (Connemara by Michel Sardou !!), very funny. We stayed 3 nights and visited Burren ,Connemara and Galway . In Connemara we...

Being a travel agent and wanting to find great B & B's to stay in for myself and three friends, I did my due diligence in thoroughly researching the areas we intended to visit. I chose Carraig B & B for our 2 night stay, not only because of the outstanding reviews given by others, but also because the Galway...

No sign from the main road to the b&b. Sink in the room is very low and completely inconvenient. Noise from the upper room through the ceiling. Stuff is nice and helpful. bathroom was not clean aroud the window, probabely after some kind of renovation. The local pub is working just through weekends

There is a lovely view whilst having breakfast in the dining room looking out onto a lovely garden and fields beyond. Mary provides a five star stay...

This is the kind of place that is so friendly that we had to give Mary a big hug when we left. A bit out of town, but real easy with a car, and very quiet. Cows grazing outside of the bedroom window. The only problem is that one of our rooms was not ensuite, which we were not aware...

The house is quite huge and rooms are appropriate for large families. We had a great stay in Galway. This is the place to stay; it is slightly...

What can I say about this B&B other than fantastic. Mary was quite the delightful host. She made us feel right at home and made a great breakfast. She gave us tips on where to go in town for dinner and how to get to the ferry the next morning. Us girls loved sitting on the back patio with the...

The accommodations were perfect - lovely room, clean and quiet. There are beautiful vistas in all directions. It's very convenient to Galway especially if you have a car. There is a bus that stops a short walk from the Carraig but the schedule is sparse. If you need to travel that way, plan carefully. Excellent "full Irish" breakfast. Mary gave...
