You get a warm welcome from cheery well presented staff here. The location is great and the decor and ambience give the place a quality look and feel. There's plenty of parking and we were quite looking forward to settling down for a decent lunch. We ordered the homemade burgers which sounded good. When they were served the underside was...

Visited The Manor for one night for a wedding reception nearby. On arrival staff were extremely friendly and helpful as we were shown to our room. Sea view was excellent. Room was clean and well presented. We didn't eat or drink at the bar/restaurant however it looked very welcoming. Breakfast the following morning was delightful. Continental buffet along with a...

We spent 3 nights here having just sold our house and needing some R and R. This is just what we got. Everyone was very helpful and friendly, the bed was very comfortable and the food very nice. I would say that I thought the room we had (No 7) was overpriced as the bathroom was dated and quite cold....

We enjoyed a very good lunch between Christmas and New Year. Lovely sunny day and we sat in the conservatory which was very warm! Service was good and the atmosphere was congenial. The location is extremely pleasant and the view of Chesil Beach is gorgeous.

It is in a lovely spot and the food was fine. Nothing exceptional but then nothing much wrong with it. Clean, food pricey but fine. Service was efficient and unhurried. Dogs are welcome in certain parts which is handy and for those without dogs you don't have to share your space with them.

Modern bedroom and ensuite tastefully decorated and with pictures. Good views from room. Excellent food cooked by a serious chef. About 300m from beach in a quiet location. Cosy bar with wifi. Easy to park.

We called in here whilst walking up from the beach to the South Dorset Ridgeway - a beautiful house overlooking the sea - courteous service - a bar where one could sip whisky and later stand in the garden under noble trees

Lovely surroundings, stayed just down the road overlooking Chesil Beach. Afternoon tea unhurried, but did not 'fancy' evening meal menu, although looked very appetising not to our tastes (but we are very olde world English fare) Lovely place
