We stayed just one night, and I cannot fault the place. We were welcomed warmly. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated. Soft towels and toiletries were provided, as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was hearty, smelled and tasted great, and nicely presented, with a good selection of cereals and yoghurts too. Nothing but praise for this...

Absolutely brilliant, food superb, room fantastic, service second to none. If you're in this part of the world this hotel is a must. Far better than most places I've stayed in, a little Devon gem! Thanks Shane and your team, we had a fabulous stay. Cannot recommend highly enough

Lovely village, nice pub and good breakfast. We didn't have dinner but will stay there again if we needed to break our stay. We were a bit surprised to find that our loo was along the corridor. We had thought it was en suite.

The hosts are fantastic and...

Stayed one night. Rooms are recently refurbished and comfortable. My room was a bit cold despite the radiator and I should have asked for an additional blanket. The bar underneath was a bit noisy but that goes with saying in a pub! Breakfast isn't served until 8am but cereals with milk and juice were available. Parking is on the street...

Pros: The attitude of the landlord/staff, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the quality of the food - Food's sourced locally (not the baked beans). I phoned the hotel to find out what would happen if my coach was delayed too long to enable me to check in by 10pm, and was sent email instructions, which are not difficult...
