Can't say enough good about our experience! It was in between Christmas and New Years, so the hotel was quiet, which meant we were able to get an upgrade to a beautiful suite. We didn't even ask, it was offered to us! There was a lovely wine and cheese reception as well. The next morning my hubby and I were...

A beautiful small hotel downtown, once a YMCA building. Great interior, big banquet hall, New Orleans-like court yard and great rooftop deck overlooking downtown, the Capitol building and neighboring 3 state museums.Perfect for reunions, parties, weddings or just visiting.

The entire property is beautiful! In a city with so many flaws, all are hidden in this gem of an Inn! I love the service here- it all begins there. Second, the rooms are each unique and wonderfully maintained. The linens are crisp and super cozy. I slept like a log! LOVE the inn- will go again and again!

Saw one negative review about staff and cleanliness but we experience the opposite. After our disaster in Chattanooga at the CHOO CHOO hotel (don't stay there by the way), this was a welcome end to our vacation. The hotel is beautiful. Each room is different. We stayed in room 5. GREAT oversized bedroom. Smaller living area. But super pretty. The...

Stayed in Room 9, and loved it. Juliette Balcony with sitting room and hardwood floors. The rooftop bar was open, and it was just perfect- very relaxing, with tasty hors d'oeuvres menu. Breakfast was also great with grits in the courtyard. Parking is very convenient in attached lot. Right next to old capitol, so make sure you at least take...

On our USA road trip from New York to New Orleans with our friends we had left one night unbooked and decided we could get as far as Jackson. We stumbled across this hotel and what a find! Unique and comfortable with the most welcoming host handing out wine and cookies. We could not have been made more welcome. Lovely...

It was a great experience and ambience. I definitely would stay again. The staff were very professional and helpful. The rooms were decorated beautifully and clean. The restaurant at lunch was superb, I wish they were open for dinner! If you are staying in downtown Jackson, definitely check this place out before you go to a chain hotel.

Despite recommendations from several respected magazines and online sources, I wasn't expecting to be blown away given the low room rate we landed over the 4th of July weekend. Boy was I wrong! The location, easy parking, charming decor and well-appointed bathrooms made this a fantastic hotel. It's an older building, so some of the rooms are a little on...

Loved this hotel, one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. It is located in downtown Jackson next to the Old Capitol museum. Also only a few blocks from the current Capitol building. The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was soft with quality linens. The parking is gated and there are enough spaces for each room...

The Old Capitol Inn is a beautiful, unique place to stay...if you don't mind the low level of cleanliness and the registration personnel that really do not care about the quality of your stay. The manager, David, was more helpful. I had made our reservations online through their website. When I did not receive a confirmation email, I called the...
