Without doubt the best place I have ever stayed while on a road trip. Full of character - in a wonderful sense. Great staff as well. The rooms have everything you need - even a heated floor in the bathroom in my room! The Ritz, it ain't. A not to miss - it is.

Our cabin was comfortable and just as they described on their website. I felt it was clean enough and the bed was comfortable. Our cabin was in a more remote area from the rest of the property and it was very quiet. One problem that we encountered was that we checked in on a Friday and left on Sunday and...

We stayed in a grain bin turned cottage. Very charming and rustic, and when I say rustic I mean old. Our room was clean, but it comes with cobwebs and critters. It's part of the charm. And it is the South, after all. I got the best night of sleep there. It's really, really dark at night. I could see...

I knew what to expect staying here. We were prepped and ready to check out the lofty rooms. The idea behind staying here is to really immerse yourself in the Delta culture. If that's not something you're into, you might want to consider staying somewhere else. I stayed in the Robert Clay Shack and loved it. It was one of...

We stayed in the Electric Blue with 2 lovely balconies, as in all review it sure is quirky and fun; however it was lacking in crockery and cutlery, 1 cup for four of us. The bathroom could have been cleaner, quirky is great but grubby is not. Beds are amazing, so comfortable. Staff are lovely and were very understanding when...

Stayed in the Biscuit Shack while passing through Clarkesdale! It was a Monday night so things were pretty quiet, but we were given a list of local restaurants that would be open at checkout! Can't wait to come back with some friends :)

If you go to Clarksdale, stay here. As others have noted, it's not glamorous, but sometimes it's good just to go low rent. There is an authenticity here--probably due to the location and its history as much as the shacks. If you can, get a shotgun shack or any room with a porch. That's part of the slow down, unwind...

Just a really unique place to chill along 61 in the Mississippi Bayou. Where else can you sleep among the cotton fields? We slept in one of the grain shacks and then in a cabin another time. They were both fine. Rustic but comfortable. We were close to town to listen to great Blues music-that is what the trip was...

We loved Shack Up Inn! They say "if you have to ask about the thread count of the sheets, then stay some place else!" (But, honestly, the sheets were way better than the much pricer hotel we stayed at the night before!). We spent two nights in the Robert Clay shack, and thought it was so unique, we planned our...

Was looking for a place to stay a couple of nights while in Clarksdale to listen to some Blues. I was tasked with finding the place. My wife and the other couple were apprehensive but it was only two nights so I said we are going for it. We were pleasantly surprised. This is a fun, unique, and somewhat quirky...
