I just drove up from Fargo. I am just exploring by myself. I came in late with no reservations. I was going to camp, but I could not find a place to hang my hammock. Bob's had a vacancy, and Bill took great care of me even though I came in after 10 pm. The cabin is nice and the...

We pulled in here on a Saturday night never having heard of Bob's Cabins and just looking for a place to stay. The woman who checked us in was very nice and gave us a discounted rate on a cabin which just happened to be vacant that night due to a cancellation. She said the cabins are usually booked up...

Our second visit. Great to be back. So peaceful here. I want to say rustic but Spartan might be better. Simple. Clean. Basic. Nice. No stove in our cabin but a gas two burner hot plate. We didn't cook here but did make copious amounts of coffee. We ate twice at scenic cafe, about ten miles away. Amazing high end...

Great location, very simple amenities. Clean. As an East Coaster this was my first visit to a Great Lake. Like an ocean, yet so salty aroma. Very relaxing. Don't expect hotel like amenities... you are "roughing" it after all!

I was hunting for a place in the woods for my daughter and her friend to say while they were visiting from China in early Oct., 2013. Based on all the great reviews here on TripAdvisor - we chose Bob's Cabins. I had a pleasant discussion with proprietor, "Bill" who answered all of our questions. He told us in detail...

Bob's Cabins reminds me of the cabins we stayed in as a kid in the 60's. It is probably best suited for adults that want to unwind and just relax. When we arrived, I did not want to leave. I just wanted to sit on the deck of my cabin and relax with a glass of wine/beer and watch the...

My wife and I wanted to take a short stay on the North Shore of Lake Superior. We googled a rustic resort called Bob's cabins, called the owner and made a reservation. The facilty was a little south of the town called Two Harbors. When we arrived, we were greeted by the owner who spent 15 minutes explaining the particulars...

This is one of my favorite vacation spots. The cabins are older but great. I especially love being so close to Lake Superior and the rocks. Have been visiting there since I was a kid. It is great fun to stay in these cabins and be so close to the lake.

Drove from northern Wisconsin for a day trip to Two Harbors, Minnesota. Decided to stay for the night, and by chance stopped at Bob's Cabins. The cabins are older, but well maintained. They are clean and comfortable and sit right on the shore of Lake Superior. They bed was very comfortable. The view is great. We had a huge rock...

Year after year for the past 6 years we've been at this place. The cabins are always impeccable, there's heat (just in case Memorial day time is still cold) but no A/C (you won't need it) or TV. The small office room has board games and books you can borrow. Kitchen is well stocked, but expect everything including the dishes...
