Enjoyable, clean, comfortable (except the neighbors below us burnt a fire for 48 hours straight and our room was in the 80s. The room was a bit worn, but charming and cozy. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a couple kids, but way too much space for just two.

After staying at Cove Point Lodge the first night and being disappointed with it at $204/night, we bolted for Blue Fin Bay. It was a little pricier and did not include breakfast, but it was totally worth the the ~$220/night we paid. We had no balcony but since it was October and chilly it did not matter. Although in the... More

The beautiful studio loft is just 30 feet from the shoreline. The cozy living room has gorgeous views of the lake. The Bluefin Grill and Coho Bakery are close by or you can cook in the fully-equipped kitchen.

We have been coming here with our family for a couple years now and absolutely love it. The staff is very nice and accommodating and there is a lot of outdoor activities to do in the area. We love having a kitchenette to make dinners for the kids and wood burning fires in the fireplace while listening to the waves... More

Bluefin has great food, great views, and great staff! Highly recommend the Turkey Sandwich on cranberry bread. Can't try anything else! Their salads are huge and so are the burgers. The views in the restaurant are beautiful, right next to the lake.

We've stayed here many times over the years. The location is the best part. Being so close to the crashing waves of the Lake is an incredible perk. The full kitchens are great. The fireplaces are, too. The rooms are well sound-proofed. The pools, arcade, and s'mores are all appreciated by our kids, and we like both the cafe and... More

We have been vacationing at Bluefin Bay for many years. Why not? You can't beat the location and all of the amenities offered are fantastic! However, there are times when things don't go quite the way you would like. That is when you need a good team of employees and a good manager. Things did not go well for us... More

We stayed in unit #6...it was right on the water, beautiful views, easy walk to the Bluefin Grille and very nicely furnished. It was a great fall get away spot to celebrate and enjoy the wonderful world of "upstate" MN.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 yr anniversary and we usually camp somewhere along the North Shore or BWCA. Being that it was our 10 yr and we are not as young as we once were we did not feel much like camping. We had heard great things from friends and family about Bluefin Bay and decided to... More

We traveled to MN to see the fall colors and my husband planned the whole experience. He had problems deciding on places to stay and, as usual, got my input after doing the research. This place was nothing like we had expected. We were given room 53B and upon opening the door, we were faced with a tiny foyer that... More
