The halls and the room smelled horrible. The room was so outdated. Whirlpool looked yellow. No fridge in room or any ice machines. Bed was uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the $200!! Pros: Patio gives you good view of river. The hotel is close to the restaurants and downtown businesses.

Wonderful experience! My husband and I were on a weekend getaway. It was lovely. We really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river(definitely worth the extra few bucks!) Breakfast was good and more than expected. This is more hotel like than other b&b's We would most certainly do this again!

Victorian style inn situated in historic downtown Stillwater. Tastefully decorated spacious rooms. Our room was located with a view of the river and the lift bridge. They have a designated gated parking area. They have a restaruant and bar on site. They do offer a free breakfast from a specific menu or $5 discount if you order from their regular...

Beautiful old hotel. Rooms are very large and nice. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had although I waited over 30 minutes to get it. We found it difficult to find the entrance and they definitely need more/better signage inside. Strange and complicated layout.

Thank you for the review and the suggestion on more signage we will get working on that.

This is a tough one – The good: friendly staff; perfect location – convenient walking to anywhere in downtown Stillwater, great view (if you have a river side room); spacious; good hot tub in the bedroom; separate bathroom was modern with great walk-in shower. The not so good: calling the bed a queen is stretching it a bit, seems more...

There aren't too many options in downtown Stillwater and the location really is great. However, the rooms really need a renovation. I think the last facelift may have been early 90s. The site lists the bed as a queen, but for whatever reason it felt like a tiny queen and I could have sworn it was a double... And it...

Impromptu visit to Stillwater over Memorial Day weekend and after looking online for a hotel room while driving to the town that Sunday and not having much luck, I happened upon this place and an offer of a suite (last available room)! Although quite pricey, we believed it would be worth it with a great location and a beautiful king-sized...

I know I said it was overpriced because it was. We happened to get a deal of half off the room because of a special they were running for Mother's day weekend. Otherwise we never would have gone there. It is a very old hotel and beautiful. The restaurant looked very high class again expensive. We usually stay at nice...

The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. There was either blood or red wine smeared on the back of the bathroom door and the windows were so filthy you could barely see out. Wallpaper was peeling, mildew in shower overpowering and overall no one gave a hoot about decor and most of all cleanliness. The street noise was...

Great location, very nice staff, and pretty much the kind of room I would expect from this type of hotel. However, when you are paying 250$+ for a room I expected the bed to be a queen or king. I realize they are limited by wanting antique furnishings, but give up the antique look for comfort any day, plus the...
