I've been making fishing trips to Minnesota since 1980 and tried several other locations and resorts in the process. But since the early '80's Anchor Inn Resort has been my "go-to" place. The owner's could not have been more friendly or helpful. Very accommodating. Of course, this is a remote location in a No MN "resort" with excellent waters, surrounded by abundant public forests for grouse hunting. We stayed in one of the original refurbished log cabins. All essentials provided: new kitchen, new baths, comfortable beds and ample storage space. Very clean...
