We went to the Bluebell Inn with friends for a change. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent and extremley good value. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive.I am pleased we tried it and am looking forward to returning to try something different to eat.

Myself, Wife and four friends visited the Bluebell Inn for Sunday Lunch! I'm Glad that we did. Basic Sunday Lunch menu but incredible food! Generous portions. The landlords were very welcoming and their staff were very polite and helpful! Would highly recommend and certainly re visit!

Even though it was a roast (and you assume they are just plateing it up), it took 40 minutes to get to the table and when it did I couldn't have been more disappointed...burnt yorkshires, soggy and mushy potatoes and parsnips, the carrots were over cooked and the cauliflower cheese was a watery drizzle of something that tasted nothing like...

their steaks are unsurpassable...the ambience is wonderful, the service incredible and the food!! Oh and several real ales to try as well... You have to book in advance, which says a lot about the interest in this place...Go and try it [book early...] You'll not be disappointed...

I can thoroughly recommend a stay here, the landlords were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and they were helpful and friendly right from my first phone call to make a reservation. There is a cosy bar with a log fire (where our dog was welcome) and the food was fabulous - everything...

We spent the weekend behind the pub in our caravan, on the camping field. Lovely and flat field, with nearby water and elson, plus a toilet. Spent the evening in the pub, received a very warm welcome, and had such a great night, booked in for Meal on Saturday night. Considering the very reasonable prices, we were quite shocked at...

21 people party of mixed ages all catered for in a warm welcoming pub restaurant. Food was all home made from a varied menu served piping hot with great taste and presentation by friendly staff. Will need to book as very popular. Would highly recommend to all.

We came and ate for dinner. Lovely log fire and a very local feeling. Wow the fish and chips were better that any chip shop. Very friendly service. Make sure you book a table if eating. We look forward to eating here again.
