What a lovely b&b run by a lovely couple. I stayed here for 2 nights this weekend and felt completely at home. Rooms are basic but clean and tidy with a powerful working shower, tv, shampoo/shower gel etc. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful plants and gardens, as well as farms where you can go and look at the horses, rabbits, cows and chickens. The bar is self service , with crisps, alcoholic drinks, soft drinks , tea and coffee. You pay for what you use on check out. Breakfast is fresh juice , selection of breads, cold meats, cheese, yoghurts, cereals and eggs. There is a lounge area surrounded with plants where you can play pool, relax on the sofa watch tv and WiFi is available at the hotel.

First things first: I was on a business trip, NOT vacation. I do not think that this place would be a place to spend holidays - but for a night or two on business travel I can hardly imagine anything better and nicer.... of course, if you like nature, peace, silence and a relaxing quiet evening. No "night life", no restaurants, no huss and fuss - a lovely place far from the hussle and bussle of a city. When I arrived, I was VERY VERY nicely welcomed by the lady owner herself, kind, polite, unintrusive, gentle (which lovely expressions could I find more...?!). She showed me around, explained everything and then took me to my little room. As mentioned, there is no restaurant in walking distance, but there is a pizza delivery, and if you want, you can help yourself to a cup of coffee, a cold drink or a little snack and pay it next day before you leave: built on trust and mutual politeness. The room was very simple. A little kind of table, a chair, a nice and (at least for my back) good bed, a shower and a separate toilet - all very well isolated: you don't hear or others would not hear you, even not if your TV (flatscreen of course, today...) is on. Do not expect the luxury in the room - the luxury lies in the fresh air, the quiet surrounding, the inner peace you get from being out of town. In the morning (they serve breakfast from 06:00 on - would you believe?! Which "good" hotel would do that as selfunderstandingly as they do?!), I was welcomed by the Mr. Owner himself, as charming and welcoming as his wife. A breakfast for a king! Well, you are there as you travel for business, so how long would you spend on your "brekifast" :-) In fact, you could spend two ours, eating from Swiss cheeses, 5 different kinds of breads (fresh, of course!), Yoghurts, cakes, different kinds of sausages, eggs - gosh - I forgot what all... probably 10 different kinds of preserves and three different kinds of honey... who could eat ALL that ?! On my way to work I tried very hard to figure out, with what I can "fail" this place... I couldn't find ANYTHING. My suggestion: go there with the right attitude (not a nightlife tiger!), enjoy every moment and you wake up fresh and well fed for a hopefully successful new work day. Internet as much as you like, and pricewise... oh well... we are in Switzerland... so, for Swiss proportions it is quite moderate. I am sure, you won't find much cheaper places with THAT special atmosphere. Last thing: you either need a car (if you are one of those who love to sit on motorways), or take the train and a bus from one of the cities (ZRH, BSL...) and calculate a relaxing hour to get there - just enough to unwind after a busy work day! Enjoy folks!

We spend few nights here with my family. Very friendly and welcoming couple managing this structure. Rooms and common area for breakfast are really in the middle of the greenhouses so you are surrounded by flowers and plants. The atmosphere is really full of light and nature. Rooms are not too big and have no windows but we had a good sleep and nothing is missing. Clean and simple. Very easy parking. Good breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, cheese and ham. Not super cheap but in line with accomodation in this area.
