We stayed in the Suite for two days this August and absolutely loved it. The room was homey and tastefully decorated with a lot of interesting woodwork, and it included a small kitchen and cozy living room with a fireplace. Just outside our suite was an outdoor firepit and stairs leading down to a beautiful Lake Superior beach, where the...

This was advertised as a B&B, but really all it is a motel. Rooms were very small and outdated, but they were clean. None of the rooms or the "main room" had TV (they were "experimenting" with no TV), but had DVD players, and there was a small selection of DVD's to watch. Breakfast was nothing more than grapes, hard...

Very nice small motel with breakfast right on Lake Superior. Rooms overlook the Lake. Very nice owner who takes good care of you. The breakfast room can also be used to just sit around and relax or play games or watch a movie. All in all, I was well pleased. Right next to Tettogouche State Park.

We enjoyed our small room and the FULL moon on the beautiful Lake Superior beach! The Inn is right next to Tettegouche State Park which was a great place to hike. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

My wife & I spent 4 days here in mid-May. The owners are super people, very gracious and helpful. Accommodations were excellent and the breakfast was solid. For anyone wanting to explore Minnesota's North Shore, Silver Bay is the ideal place to stay and Inn at Palisade is the best lodging choice in the area. I highly recommend.

Our room was darling. The lakeshore down some steps is private and relaxing with a gorgeous view. The hostess was warm, helpful and friendly. A top notch continental breakfast was served. Recommend this place highly.

We found the Inn to be extremely comfortable, delightful and much like the other reviews. Our hosts saw to it that all our needs were met and encouraged us to ask if anything was needed. Jeff did loaned me a screw driver and socket set to make a minor bike rack repair when I asked. We stayed in the suite...

The Inn is set up like a B&B; the owner's live on premise, the large common room includes a living room, t.v., board games, refrigerator, and tables and chairs for a delicious breakfast included in the price of the lodging. The four rooms are laid out like a motel and each overlook the lake with a window seat and a...

Just stayed at this gem over the weekend of January 28th. First thing we noticed was the welcome. Provided information right away on everything from beverage locations to flash lights for the beach to games and dvd locations. Shown to our room and they made sure we knew how to operate the television and that we had everything needed. Rooms...

We stayed here the nights of October 5, 6, & 7, 2011 with the purpose of enjoying the beauty of the North Shore for a few days. The B&B immediately overlooks Lake Superior. The property's shoreline consists of a sandy beach bordered on each side by typical large Lake Superior Rocks. Both Shovel Point and Palisade Head are easy to...

Thank you for your comments. The flies you refer to are called cluster flies and are common during this time of year. They seem to come and go over the years and this past year we seem to have been one of their favorite destinations. The tricky little guys seem to be able to wedge into the smallest cracks and...
