I had been staying at the White Valley four or five times a year for 25 years when on fishing trips. After experiencing increasingly run down and dirty rooms during my stays in 2015, I decided I could no longer stay there. It's a shame because the motel was located in such a convenient location for me,

This is a family owned hotel who tried to be attentive to guest needs. The rooms are bigger than your average hotel rooms. In room coffee, big refrigerator, free Wi fi, microwave. Nice restaurant just across the street.Definitely will stay again when I am in area.

For this being the only motel in town it sure was interesting. The rooms were just redone and it smelled quite strongly of an old shut up building and the carpet was dirty and your bare feet stuck to it when you walked across the carpet. Maybe keeping windows partially open or keeping the fan on the A/C on low...

We ended up here after trying 4 hotels in La Crosse (all booked due to some kind of hockey thing going on). We kept driving west on 90. It was really late at night (midnight) and we were driving into a big storm with crazy lightening and hail. We got nervous about the hail. This was the ONLY hotel. We...

My family and I recently stayed at this motel; we had a total of four rooms and were told that there were no rooms available with two beds so we all had only one bed in each room. One family had two children, another family had four children, all of whom were under 10 years old; another room had only...

Our room was very clean and attractive. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The town is very quiet and charming. There is an excellent coffee shop across the street. The only problem we had is that the walls are very thin. Some guests next door got up very early on Sunday morning and turned on the TV yo get...
