Nice hotel, but never have any kind of luck at the casino. They don’t even give me free rooms anymore so it’s hardly worth going just to loose. Not impressed with their buffet or any casino buffet for that matter. Used to go for crab but they even changed that around now too.

Had a nice three day visit with friends. Had adjoining rooms which made for great sociability. Dined together and enjoyed good meals fairly priced. Gaming was fun and slot machines provided great variety.
Highly recommended for future visits.

Are their any hot tub rooms available for Saturday May 27th? If so, what is the price?
They actually have diamond and presidential suites with very nice Jacuzzi's. But you would need to call to find out about those.

Casinos are the last places to allow indoor smoking. Most casinos have a non-smoking section. While you may not smoke, I am glad that the sovereign nation still allows smoking in designated smoking sections. I get 3 complimentary rooms per week from Mille Lacs/Hinckley so I never pay for a room. $200 is way too much, although I felt the rooms were nice. I agree with you about the no alcohol situation. It's the only 'dry' casino I know of. You can have liquor in your room if you wish to bring it in. They really don't let anyone know about no booze, either. In fact, if you go to the Grand Casino website, you will see a huge picture of the silver sevens bar in Hinckley, so you assume there's a bar in Mille Lacs too.
If it's a smoking area a smoker does not need to poll the neighborhood if others are in favor of them smoking or not. If it's smoking - smokers get to smoke. If there's a substandard non-smoking area, let the casino folks know that. It's not the fault of the person next to you who opts to smoking in smoking.

I know you dont serve alcohol at the casino but are you allowed to have alcohol in your room if you are staying for the weekend?
Not sure! I usually take the shuttle to Eddys for cocktails and appetizers.
