This hotel has been beautifully done. The public spaces are open, yet inviting and warm. Plenty of seating available. Our room was great overall, and when we did end up having an issue with our AC, the staff were very attentive and quick to rectify things for us. We also ate at the Beacon one night during our stay. Service...

A great hotel in the UofM neighborhood. Nice rooms, comfy beds, reasonable rates, good bar and restaurant onsite, very friendly staff. Self-parking next door or use their valet. Small onsite gym or receive a free day use pass for the beautiful and expansive UofM gym across the street. This was my second stay in the past 6months and I would...

Rated this place a 3! It has potential to be a 5 rating if our room was clean and didn't have smudge marks on the mirror, the bathroom door was broken and the tv would work! Wow the Wifi was super slow and our house keeper didn't show up. 4th floor was not happening!!! Now the Valet guys were great...

We booked a 12 night stay during the Ryder Cup and we certainly were not disappointed. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our rooms were terrific with large comfy bed and lovely quality pillows. Small fridge is very handy. Starbucks can be accessed from the hotel. The location of The Commons could not be better, for anyone visiting...

This was a beautiful hotel and because they ended up working on our room they upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. It was an amazing way to end our honeymoon. The staff was kind and the room was impeccable. The hotel is located right on the U of M campus and just minutes from downtown. There are...

I had such high hopes for this hotel. It's in a great location, it looks nice, the rate for my conference was very reasonable. But it's the little things that can make or break a deal, and, in this case, they broke it. Generally, I think you can judge a hotel by three things: Is it clean, is it quiet,...

Great location and service. Very friendly staff. Efficient check and out. Good in-room dining. Unfortunately, the bed was extremely hard and the bedding outdated. Hopefully, they will soon match the bedding standards of Hilton and the likes.

This is a beautiful building and the lobby is stunning. But the upstairs hallways are falling apart. The carpet has come up and you trip on it and it is all worn. We booked a suite for three days and the first night, someone kept trying to break into our room via the connecting door. We called downstairs and told...

I'm going to start with the negative - I'm not sure what it is about fancy hotels that makes them think they can charge for every feature. A boutique/luxury type hotel like this one has great design, great location, and nice rooms, so why are they charging guests to use public "business center" computers? 15 minutes free, but you have...
