My family and I stayed for a wedding. We were greeted and checked in by an amiable clerk named Taylor. She made our stay very pleasing with her jokes, friendly face and her genuine care for us customers. The attached restaurant was spectacular, no breakfast though.
Right as you walk in, the lobby was very well lit and clean. My husband and I really liked the security feature, of having to use your room cars to access your floor via the elevator. The restaurant next door was good. Our room was very spacious and offered a huge amount of power outlets. The only downfall, was the bathroom was small and felt cramped.
Hotel increased nightly rate and refused to honor block rate from our whole town visiting for soccer tournament, multiple families and age groups. We probably had about 30 rooms total, many for 2 nights. Absolutley ridiculous to increase the rate with zero warning
Probably one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in! My room was very quiet, very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. I liked the added security of needing a room key to use the elevator. The staff was freindly and welcoming. The restaurant was really good, and I liked the convenience of the market area in the lobby. The fitness center was really nice, very clean also. Will not hesitate to stay here again, a great value for the price. Thank you!
First-time business guest, and this hotel is still fresh after a remodel over the last 18 months. It's clean, modern, and the restaurant there was perfect for casual dining! I liked their lobby coffee shop as well -- in fact, I decided to return already for a conference I have in that area of the Twin Cities in June! Keep up the great work!
This location was perfect when home visiting family. Easy freeway access, close to downtown Minneapolis, and not far from St. Paul. I’d had weekend brunch at the 400 Tavern restaurant in the past and wanted to return for their great Bloody Marys and good food. Parking is free and right in front of the hotel, which means a lot in the winter. Really nice 24-hr gym and a saline pool and hot tub that are open until 11. In-room coffee was decent and you can grab to-go coffee at the restaurant, but If you want an espresso drink, you need to get to their little Starbucks bar by 10am. The room was spotless upon arrival but housekeeping missed some things like vacuuming crumbs and leaving us more than one towel. That was over Christmas though, so may have been their backup staff trying to get home to family. Customer service was great, and they had some nice touches like a quality hair dryer. My only complaint is that the pillows (down and synthetic) were all a bit thicker than I’d like, but I think they are standard Marriott pillows. Overall, a great hotel for the price. We’ll be back.…
It is a good, clean and comfortable hotel if you are looking something near north east side of the city or close to State Fair Park. They have indoor pool as well as a cafe that serves Starbucks coffee for a limited time. The hotel lobby has different fruit flavored waters. Overall worth for money you spend.
I have stayed here repeatedly over the past year so my assessment is rooted in the same experience each time that I visit, namely, while it is a well maintained, clean hotel, there are two things that are bothersome: 1) If your a lefty, this is great hotel for you because they have a giant tv at check-in that displays CNN exclusively. A good hotel will have two TV's and provide their customers balance in the news the display. 2) while they did a great remodel based on a older hotel configuration, its almost a obstacle course to get into the shower...the bathrooms are something you would expect in NYC not a industrial area outside of downtown Mpls. The hotel restaurant is very good and lively.
We traveled to Minneapolis to enjoy the MN State Fair and also hit the local breweries. The location of Delta is an easy on and off highway 35. The hotel has plenty of parking and a welcoming big front entrance. The lobby is bright and open with amenities that gives it an upscale feel. A "courtyard" beautifully landscaped can be seen from the lobby. Staff was friendly and professional. After a quick check in-the front desk staff came out from behind the desk and pointed out what we needed to know. Room access card is needed to get off the elevator only on your floor (other than lobby level). Our room was very clean, the white bedding spotless, the bed comfortable. The ventilation was very quiet and maintained the temperature we set. The bathroom was smaller than expected but nicely furnished and very clean. (everyday) We appreciated not only the usual drawers but also the floor to ceiling open shelves next to the wardrobe-a nice spot to get things out of the suitcase. The TV was huge and easy to use. The fridge apparently started a defrost and was leaking onto the carpet. I mentioned it to the front desk and she immediately contacted maintenance. It was replaced by the time we returned to our room. We were surprised to find out that we could use a shuttle service back and forth from the State Fair-"door to gate" was an awesome perk! We had a great breakfast in the restaurant/bar connected to the hotel. Again, outstanding service. We didn't use the pool or workout room this trip. We did walk thru and were very impressed. Up to date and clean. We will definitely book a room here again. Kuddos to the staff!…
Having never stayed at this brand within the Marriott brands, I didn't know what to expect. When entering the lobby, it was bright, modern and exceptionally clean. Staff were personable and helpful. Unlike most hotels, the front desk pointed out where the pool, elevators, and an on-site restaurant/bar were located so we didn't need to ask. I was also told about the hours of the coffee bar located in the lobby and a parking area behind the hotel with more vacant spaces away from the restaurant parking in the front of the hotel. The room contained a mini fridge, an in room safe, and the usual single serve coffee pot. Although the bathroom was on the small side, it likewise was bright and clean. I don't know if this hotel was new or newly remodeled/gutted, but either way, it was a very nice stay. For anyone interested in conference facilities, it could accommodate that as well. While we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food we saw coming from the kitchen looked very appetizing. A very good beer tap selection was also available. I would definitely stay here again.…
