The last two summers we spent a weekend here and loved it! Unfortunatly I didn't book in time this year and they are full. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff are helpful. The continental breakfast is wonderful with plenty of space. The best part is out back, like a secret private beach tucked away!

We stayed in the Deluxe King Fireplace/Jacuzzi Suite. We went to use the Jacuzzi and the water was brown and smelled from the iron and lack of use. No one was working the front desk so we had to get someone from the restaurant. He was pleasant but said there's nothing he can do. When we went to check out...

My family and I celebrated our family Christmas at the restaurant. The food was fabulous. My husband had the tortellini and I had the steak medallion. Both outstanding. The help was excellent and right on top of everything. The atmosphere was was cozy and warm. We sat beside the fireplace very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this to all of...

We went in at 6:20 and were greeted by the host (Asian if that matters- didn't say a name) saying that the kitchen closed at 7:00 (clearly she didn't want us there). We then asked to sit in the dining room and she told us that both were closed. She said if we really wanted to have dinner there that...

Rustic, relaxing rooms, wonderful restaurant, great people. We did a couple happy hours in the bar and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. All 4 of us were blown away with how delicious the food was. Incredible food. The bartender Darryl was the high point. Great guy, fun, quick with the one liners. Sitting down at the bar felt like you were...

Beautiful old small lodge in lake country of central Minnesota. The lodge is located on lovely Big Trout Lake, on the North end of the little town of Crosslake. Lots of biking, hiking, lounging available.

We go to Manhattan Beach every year over the 4th of July. The atmosphere is awesome! The food and drinks are tasty! The Bloody Mary's are the best on the Whitefish Chain! The people who work there are so helpful and upbeat. You can't go wrong with a stay at this lodge or just a stop for drinks on the...

We have stayed here many times over the years and through several owners. We love the setting and beautiful sunsets! The bar inside or out is always lively and fun to meet new people. We have noticed over the last 2 years that the maintenance has declined and we were surprised to be checked in by one of the bar...
