Lobby is wonderful rustic Northwoods. There is a large fireplace and area to lounge. The staff at the front is nice and very helpful. The gift shop is quite large and has quality gift items, several snacks/treats and a tiny area for incidentals you may have forgot. Indoor pool area has probably seen a better day but still it was...

We came back after great experiences last winter and last summer. We love this place. We were lucky to book the same pet friendly Townhome. Beautiful view and super easy ski in/out. Caribou Highlands is the only ski out lodging at Lutsen that you can ski directly to Moose Mountain. We were the first skiers everyday enjoying Moose Mountain to...

We made a reservation in the Alpine Condos for a ski trip, which is advertised as having indoor access to the indoor pool/spa area (important when it was -20 outside). We checked in and then made our way to the parking area outside our condo. Our parking spot was taken up by construction materials and the entry way to the...

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. I'm sorry that the construction project impacted your stay with us. The work that was being done to the skywalk (indoor pool access) was not planned, but was necessary for the safety of our guests. I know that it was particularly cold during your stay and I'm sorry for the...

We stayed in a condo with a wood burning fire place. They have an endless supply of fire wood so we had a fire every evening. The room also had a two person hot tub, which we loved. There was a full kitchen with all of the needed supplies like utensils and cookware.

We came here in February for our annual ski trip and due to the amount of people we had, Eagle Resort was no longer an option so we up-sized to the POPLAR RIDGE 4 BEDROOM. While it looked nice on the surface, you can tell the owners of the property (yes, they are privately owned) didn't care about the guest...

Thank you for your review and for staying with us last year, Chelsea! I'm sorry that the deck didn't cleared for you last year. That is a service that the management handles, not the individual owner, but it should have been done for you. They are typically cleared after each snow, and it sounds like most were, but we must...

Traveled here with family of 5- ages 51, 49, 21, 17, 15 and the dog to spend three nights over the Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful mountain view from deck, overlooking closed pool area. Sleeping accommodations were a little tight in 135B-one bunk bed, a queen in the upstairs open loft and an uncomfortable pull out couch in living room area. Next...

I wasn't sure what to think of Caribou Highlands after seeing such mixed reviews, but we had a great time. My girlfriend and I stayed at the poplar ridge studio for MEA weekend. The whole resort was packed, in fact it may have been completely sold out. You should know that poplar ridge townhomes consist of one large unit that...
