We stayed in the Amish suite, which was roomy, relaxing and quiet, a perfect place to return to after a pleasant day of biking the trails. Elaine graciously accommodated our request for vegetarian breakfasts, which were delicious. We look forward to staying here again when we return to bike the rest of the Root River bike trail.

My husband, 17-year-old daughter and I spent two nights at the Habberstad B&B. The hosts couldn't be more gracious, and home and gardens are spectacular. We stayed in the Amish Suite which is spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished with games, movies, and a Keurig with coffee and tea. We had great reading time on the porch and under the gazebo....

The Amish room is very comfortable. It is spacious, has comfy beds, and room to spread out and watch tv, read or play board games. Breakfasts are just amazing! Lanesboro is a pretty small town and the bike trails are scenic. The combination of all this makes for such a relaxing getaway.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a quiet couple of days. We stayed in the rose room and it was very comfortable with a very nice sitting room and balcony. Shower is small but didn't bother us. Elaine is a great host and prepared some great food for breakfast both days we were there. The house, landscape,...

This is a beautiful Victorian house in a very walkable neighborhood. My husband & I stayed in the carriage house which is decorated differently, but very nice. It is spacious, comfortable, & private. We loved it!!! The breakfast food was delicious & the grounds were beautiful! It was an easy bike ride ( 5 minutes) to the fun downtown of...

Habberstad House is a well-maintained, picturesque B&B both inside and out. The home has lots of comfortable chairs throughout - in the parlors, on the porch and in the numerous sitting areas scattered throughout the yard. While each bedroom has its own unique charm, our favorite is the Scandinavian Suite. It is roomy, has its own temperature control, and is...

The Habberstad House was perfect for our biking weekend in Lansboro, MN. It is located on a quiet street where you could take advantage of it's lovely front porch. Our cozy room (Rose Room) had it's own private porch and lots of sunlight. Elaine and Mark and Miles there dog were perfect hosts. They also make tasty breakfast to fuel...

Spent Valentine's Day at this B&B. Very fun to be in this quiet setting in the winter. Stayed in Amish Room...top floor. Very spacious...lends itself nicely to enjoying a board game, putting together a puzzle ...as there is a table. Also, has reading chair and couch for TV. The downstairs of this house is very true to the 1800's time...

This was our first time to Lanesboro, and we felt very lucky to land a reservation at the Habberstad House at the last minute when someone else cancelled. The home was beautiful just as the photos and description show. We stayed in the Scandinavian Suite which had a private balcony, whirlpool tub and was extremely roomy. It was also down...

This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast! Let's just say that the bed was divine and the breakfast was so delicious! Elaine and Mark run a very well kept place. Elaine helped us with a local tour and was informative. Our room, the carriage house was perfect! We cooked a few meals ourselves there and luxuriated with...
