    We came through on a tour of Little House sites. Walnut Grove doesn't have a place to stay so we looked in the vicinity. The owner was very nice and helpful and gave us 2 rooms down at the end of the motel that adjoined, one for us and one for our kids. The dead bolt is only accessible from...

    Nice room for the money paid..Fridge,microwave T.V. and friendly staff. There is grocery store and a place to eat downtown..It's all good!! :) Also..If a Big Rig Driver there is room to park your rig.. :)

    This motel is not really near anything except the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum in Walnut Grove. If you are in the area, it is clean and affordable. The motel is older. Rooms have been updated some, but don't expect anything fancy or modern. Two beds, desk, TV, vanity, and toilet/shower room. Quiet area. The people who run it were nice....

    We've stayed at the Lamberton Motel a few times. Each time we go the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a refrig and microwave in each room and it's quiet. We have 3 boys so we're probably noisy before they settle down for the night, but all the other guests are always quiet. The rooms are dated, but they...

    We had traveled to Walnut Gove for the Laura Ingalls Wilder pageant with our granddaughters. We had slept on the ground the night before and at the last minute decided a motel would be much better. Since there are not many motels nearby I was relieved that this one had a room open.
