This cosy hideaway is great for couples. The cottage is delightful and comfy, set in the vineyards with verandas all around. The highlight is the food, cooked by an experienced and passionate chef and served with local wines. It was a real surprise to find such excellent food so far off the beaten track - usually food offerings get worse... More

The atmosphere is fantastic, both beautiful outdoor and indoor dining with great food every time. It's off the main roads so there's privacy and intimacy. A great place for city folk like myself to get away from it all.

My husband and I decided to have a break before driving through to Melbourne and this was certainly a lovely spot to escape for a night. We arrived late afternoon, and it was quite cool so the warm welcome by Renee and Dave was even more enjoyable by the fire in the cellar door . After a quick shower (the... More

This place was a real surprise to us, great location near Talbot, relaxing easy going friendly owners who would do anything for you, renee if a fully qualified chef that makes the most amazing meals and at a very reasonable price, and Dave's home brew if above the noted variants about. We were so impressed with this place we stayed... More

After a 3 kilometre drive down a dirt country road we were greeted by 3 enthusiastic dogs that remained a feature of our stay. The hosts were lovely people and very friendly. The cottage we stayed in had an under-verandah bathroom that was OK but separate to the sleeping area. As it was very warm this wasn't a problem during... More

We needed a quiet get away to celebrate my 50 th birthday and that is exactly what we got. Warm welcoming, family atmosphere, home away from home and good old country hospitality. Dave was the perfect host, catering to our every need, beautiful home cooked meals, great beers and fine wines crafted on site and great music by the fire.... More

We stayed at the Romantic Vineyard for Valentines night. Renee and Dave were excellent hosts. Dave brews his own delicious beer and Renee is a food queen. We had a beautiful home cooked 3 course meal and fresh selection of breakfast options. I would definitely recommend this quaint vineyard for a quiet, country escape and hope to return.

We stayed for three nights in the studio cottage which was very comfortable and welcoming. With verandas most of the way around, finding a shady spot in the breeze with a drink and a good book was easy to find. What a wonderful stay we had with Renee and Dave. I had to work in the area on the Saturday, so we booked the Romantic Vineyard to make a weekend of it. We were not disappointed. Renee and Dave welcomed us into their home with warmth and sincerity. We never felt uncomfortable. Renee’s food is beyond excellent – foodies heaven!... More
