The Greyhound is a wonderful example of a thatched, traditional public house with accommodation. Warm welcome from the staff although at 4pm in the afternoon you would expect the room to be ready. Our room was very dissapointing, very clean and tidy but the bland decoration (Magnolia) with no pictures on the walls to compliment the room. The bathroom floor...

Visited the Greyhound with friends last week, and was impressed with both the actual building, and the welcome from the landlord and staff. Very wide choice on the standard menu, with daily specials also available. Wine was reasonably priced, and very good, service was excellent, recommend booking a table especially at weekends.

We stayed here for one night, the room was ok, although not brilliant. The food however was very nice and was accompanied with a good wine list. The breakfasts were ample and nice, I thought something lacked in the morning service however. Ah yes, I remember now.... A smile and maybe a bit of banter.

We stayed at this beautiful inn for an overnight stay to break up our journey to the south west. The family bedroom was a good size and very comfortable, with a brand new en-suite bathroom which was heavenly. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and the inclusive breakfast was delicious and plentiful (the scrambled eggs on toast were particularly...

Stayed for 1 night on 16th July 2016. The owners are friendly, polite and is a very friendly atmosphere all round. Morning breakfast was excellent all round with a good choice. I highly recommend the hotel. We had the family room and beds were comfortable, the bathroom was bigger then expected. Fantastic all round. Daughter enjoyed playing with toys that...

Really great location close to both A303 and M5, so perfect to break the journey down to Cornwall. Owners were really friendly, accommodation exceptionally clean and comfortable. Good breakfast and good food. Would definitely recommend and use again. Most importantly, I was travelling on my own and I felt perfectly safe.

Visit this place on our way to Dartmouth for a overnight stay with other members of family, from the moment we arrived everything was first class from the rooms to the food and friendly service, and not to mention the friendly pub owners.A must stay if passing thru to Devon, just of the A30,near Exeter airport.

We stayed at the Greyhound while on a recent visit to the area. Welcome was friendly and the room was clean, tidy and had a good range of supplies. Room was very quiet despite this being a pub location. Breakfast offered a good quality selection with hot food cooked to order. Would also recommend the restaurant for an evening meal.

We were on holiday in the area and we wanted a dog friendly pub for a Birthday lunch for my Mum. The reviews looked good so we rang and booked. The reception was warm, the food was fantastic and the wine was delicious !! We would recommend this pub to everyone as there were all ages eating and drinking here....

The Greyhound definitely has the WOW factor as you pull into the car park. A beautiful thatched property with ample parking. Great staff, lovely food and a real treat. Always vegetarian option and amazing desserts. Would definitely recommend.
