This is the best steak night around. The quality of the steak is incredible and the service was second to none. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal along with the accompaniments and bread basket.

We had lunch here as a party of six. The staff let us push two tables together as they didn't have a table big enough. All the staff were really pleasant and friendly. The pub was really nicely decorated and very clean. One person had lasagne and he said it was really tasty. The rest of us had tuna mayo...

Stayed in January 2017. Difficult to fault anything. Food was good and breakfast was excellent. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the underfloor heating a welcome surprise when getting out of bed on a cold frosty winters morning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay close to Ely.

After a successful stay at The Anchor a couple of months back whilst visting Ely we decided to see in the New Year at The Anchor New Years Eve Party. Included in the ticket price of £10 was an excellent disco, hot buffet with a wide selection of food and at midnight they put on a fireworks display. We danced...

We stayed here to attend a local function, we received a warm welcome, very clean well equipped accomadation, great food, comfortable surroundings. We would definitely return, and recommend The Anchor, good access to Ely, car required.

We held a family event here on 18th November with a buffet lunch for 40 people. A number of us also stayed for one, and some for two nights. The food was delicious, the staff were very pleasant and efficient and the rooms were nicely furnished and absolutely spotless. Highly recommended.

Booked here at last minute for Sunday lunch whilst staying with family in the area. Friendly staff, restaurant clean and bright. The menu was not very original but there was something for everyone. One of our party had roast beef, the rest of us had the burger. The roast looked excellent and very plentiful. The burgers were lovely and the...

We have returned from a one night stay for a wedding in the area. We had the suite which is over 2 floors. Room was modern and staff were very friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area again.
