The Historic Inn on Ramsey has little fanfare outside to indicate what an incredible gem it is. It is a heritage buildings that has been lovingly cared for by its current owners and it is obvious they are devoted to providing the best experience for the Inn's guests. There are a variety of different rooms, all spacious with character antiques,... More

We absolutely loved our stay here. The room we stayed in had a great trundle bed for our son, and the bath is absolutely to die for. We bought a package that included dinner, and it was delicious & home-made. We'd absolutely stay here again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here! Paul and Sandy were great hosts. The house is very beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was very good and we were not rushed whatsoever. We were able to get the stress-free, relaxing weekend we were hoping for! We definitely will be back!

Because it was slow (a Thursday night), the owners were able to give my boyfriend and me a tour of the entire B & B. This is not your regular bed and breakfast. There's a bathroom and a bathtub in every room, all but one was apartment-sized, and they are all soundproofed. The period details are gorgeous, and you can... More

My wife and I stayed at the Inn On Ramsey in June. We were traveling by boat up the Mississippi and only planned a night in Hastings. The Inn was very comfortable, the breakfast excellent and the hosts, Brenda and Paul, were really accommodating. Paul drove us back to the marina where we had moored for the night after breakfast,... Paul and Sandy are exceptional hosts in a gorgeous, old mansion. They were completely attentive to my needs (including gluten free treats when I arrived and a very early morning breakfast), engaging conversationalists, and simply heartfelt hosts. The food is superb, the rooms perfectly beautiful and luxurious (with roomy hot tubs and fireplaces in each), and I was always made... More

The Rosewood Inn is under new ownership with a new name, the Historic Inn on Ramsey. We stayed during the Rosewood days and loved it; I'm glad to say the new proprietors are also offering the best kind of experience. The home itself is spacious, bright, and beautifully appointed in turn of the century European style with an invitingly casual... More

My husband and I rented out the entire inn last September for the weekend for our wedding party and reception. At the time it was owned by an amazing couple, Pam and Dick. They were the kindest, most thoughtful hosts in every way. They made our wedding weekend special and memorable. Each guest raved about how much they loved their... More

Close to one of our favorite Hastings Vineyards it was a wonderful getaway! We loved the spacious room, with whirlpool and fireplace, which offered multiple ways to comfortably relax and enjoy each others company. The gourmet breakfast the following morning was simply exceptional. The perfect way to end our relaxing getaway! Thanks Pam and Dick for your wonderful hospitality! P.S.... More

“Mississippi Under the Stars was where we spent our wedding night!”
 of 5 bubbles 829leahm, 28 Sep 2014 | Read review
“There are 7 rooms in the hotel. 4 on the second floor and 3 on the top floor. The St. Croix, Rebecca, Spring Lake, and Vermillion rooms are all on the second floor. They are slightly smaller but provide more than ample space to enjoy your time. Additionally; they all have jet hot tubs! On the third floor is the Solarium (the room we stayed in), the Cove, and the Mississippi room. The Cove was booked when we were looking for the rooms, but it was my favorite (we had a chance to tour all of the rooms before any other guests arrived). Cove and Solarium have great jet hot tubs as well. The Mississippi room is the largest and has an antique copper tub (which is very cool looking) but the hot tub in this room is not working (it is leaking). So if a hot tub is a must you should skip this room. Also most of the fireplaces are WOOD burning which means that you won't have a fire in the summer (but why would you want to!?)”
