We came for a 2 day visit Sat-Mon. Checked in around 6:00 and got our room right away. We had a few issues with our stay. 1. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the revolving rooftop restaurant so I asked for a menu/hours. They printed me a copy of the JJ Astor

Dear Kessia D, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for the dissatisfaction of your stay. We take the time to listen to your constructive comments so we can continually improve our services. I will follow up with my team about the cleanliness issues. The size of the bathrooms are do to our unique round shape. The lobby coffee comes from The Duluth Coffee company and generally gets very good reviews. We hope for another opportunity to exceed your expectations. Should you have any concerns during or after your stay, please reach out to any of our employees directly. Jordan Dols General Manager

We had a room facing Bentlyville and the port and that was the highlight. Nice to be able to walk to the port, downtown and Bentlyville. Rooms are pie shaped so not real large. A little bit out of date, but does have a frig and microwave which we appreciated.

I have stayed at the Raddison in Duluth numerous times and sadly each time I visit it is a little more worn and tired. Our last visit will likely be our last. The reason we've stayed at the hotel is its revolving restaurant/bar and views of Lake Superior. The revolving

Dear BirdLooker, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for the dissatisfaction of your stay. We take the time to listen to your constructive comments so we can continually improve our services. The restaurant will not be closing early anymore as that was a one off. The elevators both work fine and we do have them serviced regularly. Many times there are kids in the elevator that think it is fun to press the emergency buttons. We hope for another opportunity to exceed your expectations. We are in the process of updating the hotel and working on guest bathrooms and just finished some lobby work this week. Should you have any concerns during or after your stay, please reach out to any of our employees directly. Jordan Dols General Manager

Can we get a room with a view of the water?
Yes, if you are willing to pay more. This not uncommon, as many other hotels will charge more for a city view as well.

Can we check in early? Some reviews say parking is limited.
Parking is always complimentary. Parking is based on a first come - first serve basis; we do not have valet parking as an option at this time. All overnight guest are given a parking flier to put on their dash during their stay. We do have overflow parking on Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday; however, during the week that is not an option.

Pretty sure you always need a valid CC to rent a room, to pay for damage, incidentals, etc. Maybe they can give the card over the phone, but I'm pretty sure they have to be able to swipe it. Maybe they would take a cash deposit. Doubtful though.
