Huge living room with two couches, lots of light & a big comfy chair for reading. We didn't have time to take advantage of the free zoo passes or the bicycles; maybe next time. Staff was friendly & very accommodating; room was clean, bright and QUIET! Would definitely stay there again the next time we go to Duluth!

Stayed one night in this inn and was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast! There were scrambled eggs and bacon and even a waffle maker. The room was well-appointed and very quiet, and the people at the front desk were very helpful. I wish we had had more time to make use of the complimentary zoo passes and bikes that the...

We booked 7 rooms at the Willard Munger Inn for the wedding party. Excellent breakfast (eggs, bacon, pastries, cereal, coffee & fruit). The staff was very helpful. All rooms had refrigerator, microwave & coffee pot. Great location to hiking trails & Spirit Mountain.

With 300,000 of our close personal friends in the area for the Tall Ships event hotels were booked solid and we had a room booked a year in advance for the weekend. When we called to see if we could check in early we were told that actually it would not be ready until about 4pm due to work being...

After failing to find a place at or near Canal Park, this was a very good compromise. The room was small and the carpet was overly spotted but the price was right and the freebies were generous. The shower was the smallest I've ever used but it worked so don't complain. The passes to gain admission to the Zoo across...

The rooms were small but very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. The person working the front desk was friendly and helpful. Wish we would have had time to ride the trail with the bikes they had available for no charge!

Modest place and small rooms but away from downtown, next to the Willard Munger Trail and across from the Lake Superior Zoo, for which the motel supplies free tickets. Family operated. Includes continental breakfast. Excellent price.

Nice folks working here but we found the place pretty run down. The carpet, sofa, bed were old and ready for the scrap pile. But everthing worked and we got by. Nice to be so close to the trail for biking and easy drive into town for dinner.

We stayed at the Willard Munger Inn this past weekend. What a great place to be near the City of Duluth! Within feet of the Willard Munger Trail, A brief walk to the Superior Duluth Zoo and only two miles to Spirit Mountain! The motel/Inn is older and it has the old pine walls. Jeff Munger runs the Inn. He...

An older motel, but well maintained and quite comfortable. Family owned with above-average breakfast, nice fluffy towels, and easy access to I-35. Located on Grand Avenue, which is newly paved, directly across from the zoo. Free bikes and free passes to the zoo available.
