We went to dinner to Altanor. We had such a great experience and a delicious dinner. The stuff was supportive helpful and friendly they served us and helped us with every single need and they made me feel comfortable. Rufina, Anton, chef Vishal were very friendly and lovely I like the way they welcomed is and served us. It is not my first experience here in this restaurant at this hotel I came from UAE all the way just to repeat the wonderful experience. although the weather is very humid and hot but the hotel environment was very relaxing enjoyable and clean. Personally I will repeat this experience again. Thanks Rufina, Anton and chef Vishal to made my day :)

As a family we have been going to Shangri-la for many years here in Oman and we have grown familiar with the staff members of whom some of feel like family. It's not difficult to ask for anything and you will be helped immediately. The service staff are amazing especially our friend Antonio who is always there with a smile. The chefs are so helpful and accomodating. Chef Thomas and Chef Rohit as well as all the other chefs. The new Assistant Restaurant Manager Rufina is lovely, friendly and very approachable. She is always attentive making sure guests are happy. In addition the whole staff crew at Shangri-la I must say are very good, helpful and family oriented. Thank you all for memorable times here at Shangri-la. Dadnam Family 👪 ❤️.

Staff at breakfast time are always happy and helpful. My good friend Antonio always avaliable to serve and provide customer satisfaction. Thank you for the lemon and mint for my son. Always ask the chefs if there is something you want that is not avaliable they are always happy to help.

We stayed in ShangriLa for business meetings from the group ICPE. My room was always clean and tidy. I really enjoyed it there, the room was very clean, all the necessary were refilled everyday. The ballroom for the meeting was perfect and always arranged for us by Peter. We had breakfast and lunch in a restaurant, all types of food I found there (international, Indian and Italian), also grilled lamb and meat station. I would like to mention, many thanks 👍 to Rufina, as she was always taking care of our group, very professional and good manners, she explained always regarding the food and made sure we are happy. Her staff was amazing. Thank you everyone whom I met there.

There are 3 hotels on site - Kids, Business and Adults only - Stay at the last one. The private beach is divine and the staff sublime. Avoid low season if you want all the eateries to be open. Go in low season if you want the ultimate relaxing holiday. Food is pure delight, especially if you have dietary preferences - Just ask and you'll be spoilt. Nothing is a trouble. Two downsides - The use of WhatsApp for everything. No 'do not disturb' cards - 6 knocks on the door whilst resting. MAIN CONCERN is food waste. Instead of allowing the staff to enjoy the buffet when the restaurant closes, the food is thrown away. THIS SHOCKED and upset me greatly - Other five star hotels ensure that the staff enjoy the same nourishment as the guests which allows them to advise customers and to feel respected. PLASTIC use is also unacceptable - Bottle water could be in glass bottles sealed when refilled.…

We came to Oman by business trip, and we're passing by ShangriLa and decided to have dinner yesterday. All the staff greeted us well. Restaurant Al Tanoor has a good variety of international and Arabic food. Also Chow mee have a nice view on sea. We would like to thank Rufina and her staff with service, she made our dinner perfect and made a small a trip around the hotel. Definitely we will come back.

I stayed for 6 days it was a very nice experience Nishant Garg was very helpful and he helped me with my luggage and Gaurav Sharma and Lakshita Arora cleaned my room and it was very nice being here. Would probably visit again
