Nice hotel but there is better value closer to the airport. Clean large room with a comfortable bed (as usual at Mariott). Took 3 requests and 2.5 hours to get a roll-away bed. Likely won't be back. Large conference and common areas in the Lobby.More

The hotel was very nice. It was clean and the room was an average size. The staff was helpful and friendly. The on site restaurant and bar were well managed. My only complaint would be how rough the towels felt. Some fabric softener would help.

I agree with the responder above. If you are flushed with cash, it is certainly better than the other floors. However, the entire hotel is well designed, and the concierge level simply adds a concierge room with lounging chairs, free newspapers, coffee, excellent hot breakfast. Calculate what breakfast for two downstairs would cost (probably $20-$30, and ask yourself if you are willing to pay $70 instead for the concierge level.
Traffic during student move in weekend. Also homecoming and sports events. Another high traffic time is during the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The first or second weekend in August. These are the traffic issues I was refering to.
