Stayed at the Cocoa Cottage B & B with friends for a weekend wedding. To say we had a lovely time is an understatement! The home is beautiful with authentic craftsmen touches throughout. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. So much attention to detail with chocolate next to my bed every night, port available for a night cap, and coffee... More

Beautiful arts & crafts style cottage on a nice street close to town and water/bike bath. Rooms are comfortable and the entire house has a nice friendly feel. Beautiful outdoor space - we loved breakfast under the Wisteria on the patio. Great breakfast - Larry takes pride in his delicacies and he should! Yummy.

I traveled 4 hours from Illinois to stay at Cocoa Cottage for one night. I only wish I had booked two nights. It was extremely clean and the host/hostess were very accommodating. I will be staying here again!

My wife and I stayed over before picking up our daughter at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. We arrived at Lisa and Larry's B&B after a long, hard drive around the lake from the south, and could not have been more pleased with our stay. We spent a delightful afternoon reading in the garden before wandering up the road for... More

Took a chance and booked online without any personal recommendations and were extremely happy with our choice. Would love to have stayed here longer. The home, location and inn keepers were all superb. Could have curled up with a book in one of the various sitting rooms and been perfectly content! Delicious and hearty breakfasts, chocolates and port in our... More

Both the facility and the owners exceeded our expectations. The food preparation and presentation were great. A true gourmet dining experience. The ambiance of this perfectly restored bungalow set the mood for a relaxing weekend get away. The jetted tub and the spacious bathroom is tastefully decorated and added to the relaxing experience. A serving of Port and chocolate created... More

Before taking ferry from Muskegon, MI to Milwaukee, WI we decided to spend night nearby. Whitehall 20 miles north with its lake looked attractive and with help of TripAdvisor we found Cocoa Cottage B&B. We are glad that we did it. The room was comfortable, sitting near lake or in the cottage backyard was relaxing, chocolate and breakfast very tasty.... More

We finally made a B&B reservation and we started with the best. Cocoa Cottage and the hospitality of Larry and Lisa made this a great weekend. You've heard about Larry's breakfasts, well they're BETTER than advertised! All of us guests became instant friends and had great breakfast conversations. This was due to the welcoming and relaxing atmosphere in the home.... More

Thank you Lisa and Larry!!! We had an amazing stay with you; from the decedent chocolate and incredible quiche, beautiful walk and bald eagle to the comfortable atmosphere and great conversations. We have stayed at a ton of B&Bs over the years and we both agree our experience in your beautiful home is in the top three.

I stayed two days at Cocoa Cottage. My room was very comfortable and private. I only left my room to have breakfast. Larry's breakfasts were amazing- very different from what most B & B's serve. If you want to relax and enjoy a chocolate feast, great food and two lovely hosts- their B & B offers the best. Very nice.
