Just returned from an amazing stay at the Inn. Staff was very friendly and quick to give suggestions about what to do in the area. Loved being able to walk to the public beach and use the chairs and umbrellas provided by the hotel. They also have some vintage bikes available to ride. Stayed in the Sandpiper room which was...

Hi Sarah, Glad you loved the Sandpiper room in the Great House. It has become a popular room since a guest called it the Puffy White Cloud about 2 years ago. It does have a lot of windows and a very calming effect with the accent turquoise wall and many windows. It is the perfect room in the fall and...

What an enjoyable experience! You are greeted with great friendliness and shown around with an explanation of the grounds. Our room was quite comfortable and had a comfortable bed. They have an evening reception with free wine and popcorn where you can easily get to know others from all over the United States and outside of it too. There is...

Dear Honest Engine, I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay, the friendliness of our staff, wine and popcorn in the evening, and a comfortable bed. We just recently purchased all new queen mattresses and the year before king mattresses. This summer we have had guests from Sweden, Germany, United Kingdom, Australia, and China. It's amazing how they find our Inn...

this B&B is remarkably clean, hospitable, pastoral, and peaceful. Only an hour from Chicago it is like a world away. Surrounded by woods and gardens, trees alive with birdsongs. Lake Michigan in walking distance. The owners are personable and engaging. We have been going there for many years, always returning joyfully, like coming home. We are always welcomed back like...

Hi R & J, It's always a pleasure to see you two again and glad you felt right at home. Most people don't realize how close we are to Chicago and it's like you are in another world. I think our breakfasts are fit for a king or queen because we have the best chefs in the world. Hope to...

Everything was great. No TV in room was great. Walk to the beach was short. Breakfast delicious. Hot tub hot and perfect. Loved the wine and popcorn each night. Only negative was I did not realize the beach was a public beach so wasn't aware would be sharing it with so many screaming kiddos. But otherwise, perfect vacation getaway.

Hi Had Fun 2014, Glad you enjoyed your stay at the Inn. We're sorry about the screaming kiddos, but they weren't staying here. LOL ! This past week it has really been extra busy and have noticed all the people walking down to the beach with a lot of little ones. If you would come back after Labor Day or...

My husband and I just returned from One night at the Inn. It was a last Minute getaway and we called while eating lunch in New Buffalo. Bill answered and they had a couple of rooms open. He let me tour and pick which one I liked best. All of the rooms were beautiful but I loved The Madeline because...

Hi Mama of 3 monkeys, I'm so glad we had a few rooms for you to choose from. These past two weeks every night has been full and I've had to say Sorry, "no room at the Inn." Madeleine has become a favorite for many of our guests because of the private balcony and privacy away from any other rooms....

I keep going back in any season. Its like going back to a cherished home. The rooms beautifully done & kept. Love the Swedish tile fireplaces, love being across the dirt road from the beach. Private. Great in-house breakfasts. Close to fun restaurants and shopping, if you choose to get out of bed! But better than all that, have been...
