Thank you, Barb & Hank! The Wellington Inn provided my husband and I the opportunity to relax, unwind and spend time together. The Bridal Suite was lovely, comfortable & private! We especially enjoyed the private balcony. Breakfast served at 9:00am allowed for restful morning, and a delicious feast. The Inn (on the historic register) is situated a few blocks form... More

From loaning us lawn chairs to take to the beach at Sleeping Bear Dunes to offering great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing options, our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay great.

nice b&b in ideal location, just 2 blocks off main street near the food trucks. A little pricey, rooms spacious only negative is breakfast is 9 AM which is typical of the area but a liitle heavy and late for early risers

We were very impressed with the Inn. The Innkeepers have done an excellent job of restoring and furnishing every room with authentic period pieces. It was a perfect location, too. Away from the hustle and bustle of the busy downtown happenings, yet less than a 5 minute walk to the downtown area!

Our family enjoyed a weeks stay during the Traverse City Film Festival at the Wellington Inn. The accommodations were great, staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was excellent allowing us to walk to most of the venues for the films. Barb makes the best breakfasts in the mornings and cookies in the afternoon! We look forward to returning... More

I recently spent 6 nights at the Wellington Inn during the Traverse City Film Festival and it was a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious and clean and the bath modern and spotless. Breakfast was a buffet during the festival to accommodate those who had 9 am films and had to leave early as well as those who... More

My wife and I are coming up on our 20th stay at the Wellington Inn. It adds up when you visit Traverse City for a three-night stay twice each summer. While I can highlight many reasons for doing this in an area with many lodging alternatives, I would like to point out how we always look forward to our experiences... More

We visited Traverse City for two nights last month and were lucky to snag the last room at the Wellington Inn. Our room, which was the most economical, was on the third floor which wasn't a problem for us but if someone had a challenge with stairs it could be an issue going up and down many times a day.... “The room ( Vortuba?) was nicely appointed and had a nice modern shower. The only complaint is the bed is super creaky- any movement of any kind. It reminded me of my grandmother's bed when I was a kid, so think it needs to be updated. ”
