Use the Broom Hall a lot as am local and can say its a good pub with good foodvand friendly staff, have some good events on throughout the year and had one of the best steaks ever here. There isva small play area for kids so can sit outside when its warm enough!

Excellent Sunday lunch in lovely surroundings. Ham hock salad, lamb shank and a really good chocolate brownie sundae for under £16. Friendly and very helpful staff as well. A very good choice for food and service.

Recently had lunch with family and was very impressed with the look and feel of the place. Food was good and not too expensive, service efficient and overall an enjoyable experience. The place was full so this tells you something! Will definitely visit again.

Stayed here for another excellent New Year's Eve. My husband celebrated his 65th birthday and the evening was wonderful. Staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and a credit to the hotel. The food was great, tasty, well prepared and hot. Service was quick, nothing was too much trouble for staff even though they were busy. Wonderful room, clean white bedding and...

A comfortable, clean, cosy and quaint room under the ceiling with a casement windows. There was an ensuite. Breakfast was included, there was WiFi and free parking. Service was friendly and efficient. I thought it was reasonable value and I would stay there again and recommend it.

It was clean and warm, the only downside being the sound of the deep freeze motors in the kitchen below during the night. There is an ancient...

Come here regularly as good food and great value. There are lunch deals (including slightly smaller portions of the evening meals at a reduced price. This suits me as they do a great burger, but the Broom Burger is huge- gives you meat sweats, so the smaller one at lunch time is better for me. Great club sandwiches and steak...

First time visitors. A lovely looking place with a beautiful, massive, aged tree out front. It turned out that I had booked into another similar sounding restaurant but this place looked so impressive I asked if they could find me a table on a busy Saturday night. The staff were excellent, professional and accommodating. There are plenty of leather settees...

This pub restaurant is right on our doorstep, great atmosphere with local people. Best steak I've had in ages. The food really is great. All of our party enjoyed the food - the mixed grill is a mighty plate full!
