Clean, Friendly and great price, The isn't breakfast available but they did have coffee in the office. All the rooms have a river view but 1 and 16 have bigger windows overlooking the river where the freighters pass by.

This isn't fancy, but very nice and clean. Our room (16) overlooked the lake and could watch ships come in and out. It is on the border of Canada so you could also see the other side. The manager Ken and Deb are great people. I would stay again.

We stayed here overnight with our two kids and two dogs. The room was big, had a microwave and refrigerator. Beds were comfortable and overall the place was clean. Management was very friendly and the place was quiet and peaceful. Very economically priced and locally owned. Would definitely stay again.

Wasn't sure what to expect from a small motel in northern Michigan because of previous experiences with other motels. This place was a great price. Rooms were very clean and big. Big as in no problem setting up a play pen and still plenty of room. Rooms had your standard smaller flat screen tv. Small table and chairs. Microwave and...

One of the nicest old school independent motels I've stayed in in a long time. Great location with a view of the freighters. All kinds of fishing advice and lures and such. The Manager was really nice and really cared that I enjoyed my stay. Great find in the Michigan Soo!! Thanks!!

My fiance and I were attending a shower in the Sault for a friend and decided to stay at Last Resort because it was close to the Sugar Island Ferry and they allowed dogs. I did not expect to be treated like a long lost friend when I spoke to them on the phone or in person. They were so...
