My husband had always wanted to stay at the Wickwood, so we reserved 2 nights midweek in February. The first night we were the only ones there and they offered us a free upgrade! The staff could not have been more warm and welcoming; they absolutely spoiled us. It was a perfect place to relax in front of the fireplace...

My wife and I spent two nights at the inn this December and were wowed by the beautiful Christmas decorations, the wood fires, and the fantastic service and wonderful food. While I am sure this is a wonderful place to stay in summer to enjoy the lake it is really special at this time of year. We had a wonderful...

Wickwood was our favorite inn/hotel during our Lake Michigan road trip. We loved it. It was everything you would expect from a Bed and Breakfast - but classier! They were also particularly helpful with driving directions and tips as we had made a very spur of the moment plans. We had a great time, though too brief. Thanks Wickwood!

Our room decor was excellent, stayed in the Uptown Room. Bathroom was small, clean as was the room. The Hors d'oeuvre hour was excellent. Fireplace glowing and warm and and ample room to play scrabble. The night was cold, we stayed in. The only issue with the room was the bath water would only heat to lukewarm, that was unsatisfying....

We had a relaxing quiet fall weekend at Wickwood - our second year in a row. Loved drinks at the Inn before we went out for dinner both nights and the beautiful breakfast was a real treat. The room was totally comfortable and the welcome was warm. There was lots to do in town - galleries and interesting shops. We'll...

Just returned from a perfect stay at the Wickwood Inn. As Bed and Breakfasts go, this is exceptional. We stayed in the Villa jr. suite - roomy and beautiful. Our friends were in the Picasso room, smaller but just fine. Breakfast and snacks abundant and delicious. Will come back again!

When you are looking for a place to stay in the Saugatuck area, the Wickwood Inn is the best. It is beautifully decorated, friendly and helpful staff, and the food is outstanding. No one does it better than Julee Rosso. The location is ideal too. You can walk to town but it just far enough away, a couple blocks, so...

We just spent 5 lovely days at the Wickwood Inn. We stayed in the large room with a fireplace which we used at night. The Inn is quiet and luxurious. Breakfast is a delightful way to start the day with fresh fruits, delicate fritattas, house made sausages and more. Each morning there was a pot of coffee waiting outside our...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Wickwood! Perfectly placed in the heart of Saugatuck's Historic District, our Inn is prodigious - providing you with more privacy than a Bed and Breakfast and more pampering than a Boutique Hotel. We can't wait for you to experience the difference of life at Wickwood! We are smitten by the fresh flavors of the seasons, and we're serious about celebrating local food. Everyday we serve our owner and Silver Palate Cookbook author's distinctive Champagne Brunch, Evening Sips & Small Plates, and Scrumptious Sweets & Treats throughout your stay. All of this is complimentary because we adore the cheer that comes from sharing good food and wine seasoned with a generous dash of laughter. Of course, high speed WiFi and private parking are also part of your stay. Life it too short to worry about additional charges and costs. As you step outside our doors, the charm of our coastal Village awaits. With its pristine beaches, award winning art galleries, unique boutiques and intriguing historic interests ... you may be unable to resist life in Saugatuck! ... more   less
