Fantastic, beautiful, a total dream! We stayed in the Christy suite and I think that will be what we reserve for each return visit. Two very small areas for improvement: the suite had some noticeable dust on the woodwork (the bed in particular), and the pillows were wimpy. Bring your own if you like neck support. Highlights: hospitality, food (I'm... More

How delightful to hear! It's wonderful to know you enjoyed so much about Wickwood, Thank you. We too think the Christy Suite is special. Oh, pillows are such a personal thing, you're always welcome to bring one from home, but there are always extras in the closet of your suite for your comfort...Come back soon! -Julee. More

We loved the Wickwood! First of all, it's in a quiet area of town and there is ample parking. More importantly, our room was gorgeous and already decorated for Christmas in early November. So romantic! The food though...the food was really fantastic, as was the service. The staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. It was a fantastic 3-day getaway... More

Welcoming staff greeted us with smiles & cookies. We rented the whole inn and the accommodations were perfect for our family celebration (80th birthday & 60th wedding anniversary). Many thanks to the gracious staff who accommodated us and made us feel welcome during our entire stay

We come here because Saugutuck is such a nice little town on the water with little shops. The Wickwood Inn is so comfortable we love staying here in their large suite in front. The food here is awesome. They have a wonderful spread for breakfast with egg dishes, meats, cakes, fruit, etc. At 6:00 pm they do little snacks, appetizers... More

Most Small Inns are loaded with charm but this one beats them all. We travel 6 months of the year and we simply fell in love with this inn...the staff and service, the generous and delicious food offerings, the grounds, our room ( the Vineyard) and the location. We stayed longer than our original reservation and will return as soon... More

From the time you are greeted at the door, check into your room and sip on wine and Hors d'oeuvres at night, you know you are truly in an outstanding location. Location allows you to walk into Saugatuck and enjoy its many shops.

Maybe it was the "Top 25" B&Bs in the country that set the high expectations - or maybe it was the nearly $400/night that set those expectations - And, while my expectations were not met - it was still a good visit at a nice B&B. Here are some details... Arrived a little early, but our greeter made it VERY... More

A friend of mine and I stayed at the Wickwood Inn for two nights. Room was super small as was the bathroom. Breakfasts were great but apps were mainly cheeses. For $379 per night I think it was a total rip off!! Restaurants and shops were very nice. Sidewalks roll up about 9:30 pm so nothing to do past that.... More

So glad you could stay with us for your “Girl’s Weekend!” It’s nice to hear that you enjoyed our award-winning Oval Beach and Saugatuck’s charming downtown. Yes, we agree, our bathrooms are small. But, while we’d love to enlarge our rooms, our historic designation prohibits it. So, we enjoy pampering guests in other ways: We fill the Inn with fresh... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome to Wickwood! Perfectly placed in the heart of Saugatuck's Historic District, our Inn is prodigious - providing you with more privacy than a Bed and Breakfast and more pampering than a Boutique Hotel. We can't wait for you to experience the difference of life at Wickwood! We are smitten by the fresh flavors of the seasons, and we're serious about celebrating local food. Everyday we serve our owner and Silver Palate Cookbook author's distinctive Champagne Brunch, Evening Sips & Small Plates, and Scrumptious Sweets & Treats throughout your stay. All of this is complimentary because we adore the cheer that comes from sharing good food and wine seasoned with a generous dash of laughter. Of course, high speed WiFi and private parking are also part of your stay. Life it too short to worry about additional charges and costs. As you step outside our doors, the charm of our coastal Village awaits.
