This is an elegant, grand inn with all the amenities one could imagine. The hosts were friendly, yet professional, the service excellent and the surroundings regal. One could linger and pass the time just hanging around the property, though the little charming towns of Saugatuck and Douglas beckon to stroll, explore the shops and galleries and take in all the...

Perhaps you have a sophisticated friend who invites you to his lovely country home for relaxation and gourmet meals. Enjoy your good fortune! For the rest of us, there is the Belvedere Inn. This beautiful inn with blooming grounds manages to welcome you as if, as innkeepers Shaun and Pete say, this really is your home away from home. Thoughtful...

From the moment we stepped inside, we experienced a place like no other! Our host was professional, delightful and gave us the grand tour of this fabulous B&B. The grounds are beautifully manicured and breakfast was delicious. Presentation was delightful. Dinner there wasn't available as it was Monday but he invited us back on our next trip. Our room was...

Beautiful old mansion about 1.5 miles from downtown Saugatuck. Well appointed, complimentary water in rooms, and the back porch was very nice. Shawn and Pete were excellent hosts! When we first met Shawn I asked if he was the chef and he responded, "yeah the chief cook and bottle-washer". We were in town for a wedding so we didn't try...

We stayed in the Balmoral room..a nice size room with small sitting area and fireplace. The bed was comfortable and they will happily adjust the air conditioning so it...

This is a refined establishment, perfect for relaxing, and spending time with ones partner away from the hurly burly of modern life. Almost serene and a sense of times gone by. The service and friendliness adds to the atmosphere. I look forward to returning and taking greater advantage of the menu and facility. It was our first time in Saugatuck...

We have visited the Saugatuck off and on for many years. Of all the places that we have stayed this was by far the best. The mansion is over 100 years old, is well-maintained and very tastefully decorated. The staff is courteous and attentive. It is unusual for me to find a menu with so many tempting choices. The dishes...

My husband and I spent two nights at the Belvedere and dined there one evening. Every aspect of our visit was marvelous. The staff are friendly and unpretentious, the inn is beautifully restored and decorated, and the grounds are gorgeous. We were given an excellent recommendation for a nearby restaurant the first night and loved our Belevedere dinner the second...
